"No, you're not delusional," Cadpig said, briefly acknowledging her sister. Talking with Two-Tone would have to wait, though. Rainbow Dash's inquiry about where to find a book had gotten the runty dalmatian's attention, and she was all too keen on trying to help. After all, what good would she have been if she didn't try to tell this... Winged horse where the books were? Cadpig leaped from her seat, carefully avoiding stepping on her overly long navy blue tie, and onto the table so that she might better address Rainbow. If she were so inclined, she would have gotten on Rainbow's head. This time, though, she didn't feel like really crossing any personal space bubbles. "Any books beginning with 'D' might be over there," Cadpig answered. She pointed a tiny paw to a set of bookshelves nearby and her tail started to wag back and forth a bit. The prospect of this particular situation delighted her for one reason or another. Who even cared that she'd lost track of studying philosophy entirely? Helping someone was just fine by her standards. "Tell you what. You give me a ride on your head, and I'll help you get your book. Deal?" Rainbow dash had to smile. " "D's" were actually the first place I looked earlier today. You see my friend owns... Well, lives in a Library. She's a real book worm. And I have seen how everything was set up. Or, at least I thought I did. Never been in a "human" library before." At cadpig's idea , dash had to smile. Maybe at least Cadpig could give her an idea about what to check out that was like Daring Do. "Sure, I guess that works. Names Rainbow Dash, call me Dash, if you want" rainbow said looking from Elijah, to Lucky, to Two Tone and than back to Cadpig. "Let me take a guess here, these 3 friends of yours"? Dash asked Cadpig leaning her head down so the little pup could ride on her head.

Finally, Rainbow Dash had acknowledged her idea. Cadpig's tail whipped back and forth with glee and she bounced up onto the pegasus's head. Rainbow Dash... Well, she could certainly see why the pony had that name. She looked like a flying rainbow!
"I'm Cadpig, and I'll be sure to get you a name tag just like Morri as soon as I find them," Cadpig said. The question of whether or not Lucky, Two-Tone, and Elijah were her friends was easy to answer. The runty dalmatian's expression shifted a touch and she shook her head. Lucky was one of her closest friends and brothers, true, but that didn't mean they all were her friends. Two-Tone was indecisive and seemed more into girly things than Cadpig would have been. As for Elijah... Well, Cadpig didn't know her other brother all that well, truth be told. All she knew was that he was one of her brothers. She was much closer to Lucky and Rolly than any of her other brothers.
"Well, yes. Those are actually my siblings. Lucky, Two-Tone, and Elijah. I'll be back with you guys in just a bit. First, I must help this fluttering rainbow of feathers reacquaint herself with her inner bookworm," Cadpig said. She gently rubbed a paw against Rainbow's scruffy rainbow mane and her tail gave a wag of pleasure. Tiny though she was, Cadpig wanted to help Rainbow Dash with this mission to find a book.
"So, what's this particular one called? Daring Do I think would be in the title, but is there a subtitle?"

"Fluttering Rainbow of what?" Rainbow Dash had to wonder. "Just another assumption, You sure like to read don't you Cadpig"? Dash had to ask , this pup sure sounded like Twilight would. She'd always use big words around Rainbow as well. And most if not all the time, Dash would have blinked in confusion, causing Twilight to sigh and more often than not have to explain it.
Rainbow should of guessed that these 3 Dalmatians were related to Cadpig. "Well, most of the time "Daring Do" would be the first name and than it would show the name of the adventure. For example, the last book that I read, about her, was called "Daring DO: And the quest for the Silver Maned Statue" I checked everything from "D" to "A" to "K" to "Y" . The author's name of the series is named A.K. Yearling" Rainbow Dash said knowing full well Cadpig would have no idea, why the Rainbow Haired mane, would ever be looking at those letters without that tiny bit of info. Rainbow flew over to the "D's" once again making sure Cadpig was at no risk of falling off.
"But, I have been heard this one guy named what was his name again? "Indiana something rather" or or something like that, I mean the guy's OK, but, he's no Daring Do" Dash said not even close to getting the human , that Daring Do was based of , right.

"Oh, sure. My pets left books all over the place back home, and I didn't have a lot to do some of the time so... I started reading," Cadpig answered. Her tail wagged gleefully at the thought of it. Books were so full of possibilities, and Cadpig never really could see herself being taken away from them. That was why she liked the idea of the school and her being there. It was an opportunity for her to broaden her scholarly mind and her education. Maybe she'd even become a better physiologist as a result of being at the school. That much was something she really hoped would happen. Analyzing people was a bit of a specialty of hers, even if she wasn't doing it at the present moment. She'd gotten so into reading about philosophy that she'd put her psychologist's mind aside for a moment.
Next thing she knew, the two of them were flying off to the D section to look for the books in question. When they arrived, Cadpig straightened herself out and started to look over the book titles. Nothing was jumping out at her immediately, though. Blue-eyed dalmatian had to squint for a moment and raised her paw above her eyes to get a better look.
"Now, let's see... A.K. Yearling... Daring Do... Oh! Oh! I think I see it! Up on that shelf up there," Cadpig said. She pointed to a shelf a few feet above the two of them that had a title similar to the one that Rainbow Dash had mentioned. At least, she thought that was it. She could read a 'Daring' from where she was, so it was as good a guess as any other. Might as well check it out.

Lucky failed to stifle a laugh at Cadpig's question. "Yeah right!! I didn't come here to learn! I came here to kick TAIL!!" Of course, that wasn't entirely true. Lucky hadn't even known the colusseum was a thing when he'd gotten the acceptance letter, but once he HAD found out he'd been more than eager to participate. He was desperate to show these other kids out there who was the biggest and the best by any means possible.
"It doesn't surprise me you're here in a LIBRARY though. That's where geeks hang out." Thereby implying his sister was a geek, of course. It was probably fortunate at that moment that Cadpig chose to start talking to some rainbow-maned horse, or she might have decked him one for daring to suggest her.. "pursuit of intellectual knowledge" or whatever was geeky.
He watched her try to help Rainbow Mane for a moment or two and then quickly lost interest. "Hey, is there a TV in this place anywhere?" He chose to ask the monstrous dog looking thing Cadpig had been talking to when he came in. If he wasn't mistaken Thunderbolt would be on in a couple of hours and he didn't want to miss it.

"I don't think I saw a TV, then again I haven't really noticed." Two-Tone answered Lucky's question as she watched Cadpig and Rainbow Dash. Hearing Dash's comments to her she nodded her head "Sure thing Dash." Two-Tone said to the rainbow maned Pegasus, her attention shifted back to Lucky. "Think they allow TV here? Or maybe they want us to learn more, then again all work and no play makes us all pretty bored. Or however that saying is supposed to go." Two-Tone said to Lucky as her tail wagged a bit.
Her attention fell onto Cadpig and Rainbow Dash again watching her youngest sister help out the Pegasus.

Rainbow Dash gasped happily . She flew up to the shelf that Cadpig had pointed out to her. She would have flew up much faster if it weren't for Cadpig getting a ride on her head. Rainbow kept a very slow and very manageable speed. " "Daring Do and the crystal chalice." Yup, this is exactly what I was looking for" rainbow dash said happily. Granted , she had read this one almost 5 million times before.
But, Daring Do was Daring Do. She landed and bent her head down so Cadpig could hop off her head.
"Thanks, Cadpig I never would of found it if it weren't for you."rainbow said giving the runt long eared dal a little hug.
She was just about to start reading when she caught the tail end of Lucky and Tones conversation. "What in the wide realm of Equestria, is a "TV""? Rainbow said with a look of pure confusion. She had never heard of such a thing. But, most human stuff confused her. It took her almost 2 weeks to figure out what a phone did and how to use it when she first got here.

Morri got back up, and turned the book the (apparently) right way up. It was till a mystery to him, though. All those markings didn't make the least bit of sense to him. So, he set the book aside, debating on whether or not to try to calm the strange little creature he'd scared down, but decided against it. He didn't want to make things worse. He blinked all seven of his eyes in tandem when a colorful creature approached, asking about a specific book apparently, shortly followed by a number of other spotted pups.
"Wow. Colorful," he rumbled softly, looking the flying creature over before turning his gaze upon the small dog staring up at him, grinning when the smaller dog grinned, and lifting a large paw to give a small wave. For a while, he simply sat and listened to the conversations going on around him, starting to feel more at ease despite the large number of dogs around. After meeting Bakbak and Niavel, he was starting to like dogs, at least when they weren't intent on hurting him or his friends.
Abruptly, his attention was returned to the small dog near his feet when he asked about TV. Whatever that was. "Um...what's a TV? If I knew wha one looked like, I might be able to tell you if I've seen one or not," he rumbled, sharing the colorful flying creature's confusion.
