Skills: Very good with all kinds of animals; flight; can be a strong will when she really puts her mind to it
Weaknesses: Generally rather a pushover; not physically strong; easily scared; wings can lock up when she’s particularly afraid.
Friends: Twilight, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Spike, Angel, all other animals.

Brief History: Born in the Pegasus home of Cloudsdale, Fluttershy never really found herself fitting in as she was a weak flier – and afraid of heights to boot. The little filly was often picked on by some of the other pegasi until the day at Pegasus Flight Camp when Rainbow Dash stood up for her, challenging her tormentors to a race. As the race began, Fluttershy was accidentally knocked clean out of Cloudsdale by the speeding racers and all the way to the ground, where she was saved from disaster by a flight of butterflies. Fluttershy instantly fell in love with all the animals she discovered on the ground; and when Rainbow Dash’s Sonic Rainboom startled them, discovered her special talent as she reassured them all.
From that point on, Fluttershy moved into a little cottage at the edge of Ponyville, where she began to tend to all kinds of animals. Over the years, she befriended Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash, all of whom – with the coming of Twilight Sparkle – became her best friends, and it was alongside them that Fluttershy aided in the fights against Nightmare Moon, Discord, and Queen Chrysalis.
It wasn’t vastly long after this that the first of her friends began to receive letters inviting them to a school in a land beyond Equestria, and soon after, Fluttershy’s own showed up as well. The Pegasus was still uncertain about adjusting to a new place, but with so many of her friends going… well, how bad could it be?
