Brief History: Born on the mainland, Will lived a fairly quiet life for the first several years of his life. When he was teenager, he met a beautiful aristocrat woman named Amelia and fell in love with her. She loved him in return, and so Will set about whisking her away from her overly strict family. This led them to believe that she had been kidnapped, and as a result they demanded that Will be executed if they ever saw him. Will took Amelia to the Legacy, and once they were there they discovered a special kind of flower that they named the Harriet. At the time, Amelia was pregnant with their daughter. Said daughter was named after the flower when she was born. For a time, they lived a happy life together. This all changed, though, when Amelia succumbed to her weak body and died. After her death, Will threw himself into his studies in an effort to push away his sadness over this occurrence. He grew more distant with Harriet as a result, but still loved his daughter dearly... Even if he didn't get many opportunities to tell her this.
Things changed once again when Will received a letter from a prestigious academy. It was inviting him to come and teach there, and Will was all too happy to do so. He left Harriet in the capable hands of a friend, bid her farewell, and went on his way to teach. What he didn't know was that the school may have been darker than it appeared on the surface. In spite of this, Will went to teach there anyway. He was just happy to have an opportunity to put his knowledge to use.
