Scootaloo pursed her lips for a moment as she pondered what her friends were saying. Sweetie and Babs were right, they didn't have a clue who was behind all this, or where the list of fights was kept, or anything. After a moment, however, an idea struck the winged filly. "Okay, I think I've got this. There's no way they'll make us fight each other in the first lot of fights, so we're safe for now. What we can do is stand watch over where the list is going to be posted on the night. We can see who puts it up and follow them to see where they came from. Then the next week, we can break in before it's posted and change it so none of us are pit against each other, right?" She glanced at her fellow crusaders, feeling fairly pleased with herself for figuring a way around this. She only hoped they thought the idea was as good as she thought it was.
"Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon?" Scootaloo hadn't thought of the fact that they might have been invited here too; but now that she did, she could see why Apple Bloom felt so worried. She had been the duo's first victim, after all; though getting stuck in the same circle as them wasn't going to be a barrel of laughs for any of them. Even if those stuck-up snobs wouldn't last ten minutes in any fight, the pegasus was well aware that they still had it within their power to make any of their lives miserable. Honestly, looking at the other three, Scoot thought she was probably the best equipped to cope with being stuck in the same circle with one or both of the bullies - they'd be out to get Babs after their last encounter; Apple Bloom had put up with them for long enough already before the Crusaders had been formed; and she wasn't sure Sweetie was strong enough to take dealing with them on her own - but that didn't mean she wanted that to occur.
"Ugh, they'd laugh so much if they could see this now," the orange filly muttered. She meant the idea of them being pitted against each other; but now that she thought of it, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon would probably laugh even harder at the trouble the three of them had just been having with their ties.
