(September 3rd, open to anyone including teachers. I needs some more Luna.)
Royal hooves trotted onto the floor, head raised as the female looked about the strange place where she'd thrown herself. Or where Princess Celestia had placed her. She sort of still resented her sister for sending here like a student. Her ears folded back as she looked about the room. "We require sustenance," she huffed, "Wonder what kind of food they have here." The cafeteria was crowded as the princess grabbed a tray with her magic.
"Two-legged food worker, we require your assistance. We are not sure which of these foods would suit our palate. Might you suggest something for us to consume?"

Arietta nervously waited in line. She might have been used to people around the time she was working. However, this was with other people and animals, some of which were much more powerful than she was. Eventually, the pink haired girl knew she was going to have to fight one of them. Her eyes rose to meet the sight of the interesting voice, referring to her in a different dialouge. What a beautiful creature. Her mane was like the midnight sky. It seemed that the horse was having a hard time deciding what to get. "Um, is there a certain type of food you like? You could go for food in that group." she said hopefully

"Want my advice? Go with whatever looks like it isn't going to wriggle off the plate."
Hiccup gave a soft smirk as he finished speaking. The food around the school was different from what he'd grown accustomed to on Berk, namely in how there was a distinct lack of lamb and chicken, but he'd sucked it up and moved on. Food was food, after all. He wasn't about to complain when it came to matters of the stomach. He did, however, have to quirk an eyebrow at Arietta's appearance and the fact that Luna was a winged, horned horse of some kind. Never before had he seen a girl with pink hair, and he'd also never seen a creature like Luna. Strange...
"But seriously, just go with whatever looks good," he decided to say.

Luna was suddenly approached by two, what she had just learned were called humans. This startled the princess, causing her ears to pin back. She tried to keep her voice low so she didn't frighten them away. Since they littered the schools she assumed it would be wonderful to befriend some. She nodded towards the female. "We enjoy many foods," she said curiously, "Pray tell, where might we find the fruit, pink maned human?"
She lifted her ears at Hiccup. "Surely you must be in jest," she said, "The food here all seems still. We sha'nt eat anything we do not know what it is. We might eat something horrible." She gave Hiccup a strange look. "You surely do not eat whatever you see as 'good.' You are skinny, yes? You must not eat much or run great lengths to stay in shape."

Arietta smiled, it was kind of cute that Luna had called her pink maned. "The fruits are over here." she said, coming over to a class container where the many fruits were. "There are many fruit here. Apples, strawberries, bananas, oranges. Or you can get a mix, the fruit bowls are always good." Arietta looked at the other choices of food, she wasn't sure what else to recommend. "There's also meat products or deserts, but i don't eat the meats." Due to being raised by Ligers and other animals, the young girl had decided against eating meats.

Hiccup shrugged.
"You never know. For all we know, they could be serving us something they just dragged out of somewhere. But yeah, it looks safe enough," Hiccup said. As for his appearance, he glanced down at his skinny form and shrugged again. He'd always been scrawny compared to the other Vikings, and it had never really bothered him before. Mostly he was just surprised that someone had actually commented on it. Hiccup had to admit that it was kind of amusing.
"I'm just scrawny by nature, I guess. High metabolism, scrawny genes... I don't really know the reasoning. I've just never been able to keep a lot of weight on me," he said. Now he just had to figure out who the two he was conversing with were. He didn't think he'd seen either of them before.
"So, who're you guys?"

Luna's head bowed as she trotted towards the fruits. She began to stack her plate with fruit using her magic all the while continuing to speak to Arietta and Hiccup. "Thou hast helped us find our favorites and we are eternally grateful," Luna said, "Although I do not know what this meat is. Would we enjoy it?" She wasn't sure; ponies didn't eat anything but plants, fruit, flowers and such. The occasional egg maybe.
She tilted her head towards Hiccup. "We are Princess Luna of Equestria! Sister to Princess Celestia and princess of the night. Pray tell, what do they call you, skinny one?" She nodded.
"We all shall sit at one in this cafateria, your princess hath decreed it so it shall be so! Get your food and make haste!"

Deciding to pile some things onto his own plate, Hiccup followed Luna's lead and retrieved a particularly meaty looking sandwich and put it and some french fries on his plate. Then, Luna introduced herself. A princess... Well, Hiccup couldn't say he was that surprised. He was sort of royal in his own right, being the son of a chief, and so felt more at ease than before. Though, being called skinny one did kind of make him laugh a little. No one had ever called him that before, and it almost sounded better than being referred to as a fish bone or useless.
"I'm Hiccup. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, son of Stoick the Vast. ...You know. Since we're giving our full names out and stuff," Hiccup said. He hardly ever said his full name, and it was practically alliteration in motion. What had happened to the first and second Hiccup? Hell if he knew. They were probably long dead, and they didn't exactly have history books to fall back on around Berk.
"Anyway, it's nice to meet you, Luna," Hiccup said, deciding to just go with her simple name as opposed to the full title. That just left Arietta, assuming she decided to speak up again.

"I'm Arietta, nice to meet you, Princess Luna." the pink haired girl said with a warm smile. She was very surprised to learn that she was a princess. The young pink girl didn't realize that animals could be princesses of anything. The only ones mentioned in books were humans, not animals so it was kind of a big deal. At Luna's invitation of sharing a table, a smile formed on her face. Relief of not being alone at a table filled her.

"Ah, thou soundest as if thou art a son of somepony of great importance," Luna said to Hiccup, "It is a pleasure for us to meet you, Hiccup. And Arrietta. You both are a delight to converse with." Luna smiled softly. Inside the princess was giddy despite her royal demeanor. She was happy to have a friendly bunch to eat with. With her guards away in Canterlot Luna had felt quite alone. Now she had a group she could speak to.
"What is it you are eating, may we inquire?" Luna asked, "Now, shall we find a seat?"

Arietta looked down at her tray in her hands. She was still figuring out what she wanted besides her fruit salad. "I have a fruit salad, its got all kinds of fruits, strawberries are my favorite." she said, before grabbing a carton of milk, carrots. and some bread, "Carrots, milk and some bread." She was thinking of getting desert but had decided to save that for dinner. It wasn't much but it was better than nothing. Her eyes wandered to an empty table near a window. "We can sit over there if you want. We can look outside and have some sun."

"Yeah... My dad's the chief of my village, which makes me next in line. Not that long ago, people would've laughed at the idea. 'Hiccup being the chief? We're all doomed', they'd have said. Now... Well, I must admit I'm not that confident about my abilities. I barely know where to start," Hiccup said. He took up his plate again and glanced down at the sandwich and fries he'd taken. To be honest, he didn't know what the fries were. They smelled good, though, and he decided to chance it. Luna's question of what he had taken was easy enough to answer.
"Looks like it's some kind of ham and... I think chicken sandwich with... Some kind of potato thing? Hell if I know what these things are. They just smelled good," Hiccup admitted. Then, Arietta suggested a table. Hiccup glanced at it and nodded in approval. No one else was sitting there, thankfully, so the three of them could sit in peace with one another. A strange group, yes, but Hiccup had seen stranger. He worked with dragons, for crying out loud.
"There looks good. Okay, so we've got a princess, the son of a chief, and... What did you say you were, Arietta?" he asked.

"I guess you could call me a sage." she replied. "Though I am not an advanced one like people I know. I only know a little magic, and animal communicating skills." she admitted, giving a small smile, grateful that not one of these people would judge her, at least not that she could tell anyways. "The people who raised me thought that this school would give me a better education."

"Hm, should thou not know what touches thine lips, chief Hiccup?" Luna didn't understand. She pushed towards the table and placed her meal in front of her. A fruit salad, she had, like Arietta but it was larger. She tilted her head to the side, ear flicking as she decided to stand. She turned towards Arietta as she placed down her orange smoothie and sucked on the straw.
"Animal communication, hm? We hast a friend who's special talent is the same as thou," she said, "They call her Fluttershy." She sucked on the straw a bit more before raising the fork to stab at the fruit.

"At this point, I'm more concerned with surviving the fights and the homework than worrying about what I'm about to put in me. Besides, back home I had to take what I could get. They generally only served one kind of thing in the dining hall a day, and if the other kids got it before me that was just too bad. So... Guess that's another reason I'm kind of scrawny," Hiccup said. He never thought he'd be having this sort of conversation with a princess, but there he was. it kind of left his mind after a bit, though, when Arietta explained what she was. A mage; Hiccup had heard of magic users before and thought they were nothing more than myth. But then again, he was practically surrounded by strange individuals now. One mage wasn't going to make a difference.
"Wait... You can communicate with animals?" Hiccup asked. That had his attention. If she could do that, then maybe she could communicate with dragons too. Of course, that didn't do him a lot of good when Toothless was back home and there were no other dragons around. Still, he had to ask.
"Does that include dragons?"
