Brief History: Yosuke's adventure began when a new transfer student named Yu Narukami came to town. Inaba was a quiet city, it wasn't until one day when a body was found hanging from a tv antenna, did the town become interesting. The murder freaked everyone out but Yosuke didn't really notice, until Chie told them about the Midnight Channel, a rumor if you look into a tv on a rainy night at midnight you will see your soul mate. The next day, Yu told them that he could go into the tv, when no one believed him he demonstrated. Yosuke found it freaky that there was another world inside the tv but thought it was just something like an illusion. When his older classmate Saki was seen on the midnight channel that night, and then murdered the next, Yosuke thought that the TV might be connected. With Yu and the others, they went to discover just what the midnight channel was and who was pushing people inside it.
Each time, one of their friends gained a power called Persona, however, when the mystery was solved, the midnight channel no longer exsisted, that power disappeared. Yosuke stayed in Inaba to finish his year at high school with the others. He received the letter inviting him to attend Dante's Academy. His father, thought it would be a very good school that would help get his son on the right track, so he was forced into going.
Note: Persona will not be used, he is just a regular human kid. Also, backstory is short to avoid spoilers of the game.
