[September 2nd, open to anyone taking Daring Do's Ancient History class]
The scarlet eyed Pegasus had been looking forward to teaching her classes. Her treasure hunting class was not set up yet, according to her papers, that class would take place after the fifth. No big deal. She could be patient. At least she could teach these students some real studies. She frowned, there was something wrong. Her maps were filled with Equestrian lands like Hoofington and Saddle Arabia, that wasn't going to work. A lightbulb went off in her head. Running over to her treasure bag, she pulled out several of the artifacts that she had gained from her journey and placed them on the desk. That could work, if they wanted to know information, she could ask questions about where the artifacts had come from and go from there.
She knew a lot about history but the human world was a mystery. She had learned a lot in a couple of days. So she could try her best. She was confident about her class. The Pegasus hoped that she would do a good job teaching though.

Fortunately, the pegasus would not be disappointed. One of her students was about to arrive at that very moment.
Angel made her way into the classroom and padded up to the nearest desk. She had to admit, the whole concept of a dog going to school seemed strange to her. The streets had taught her all the lessons she needed to know, so why did this school think they could do any better? Questioning it further seemed unwise, and so Angel decided to try and roll with it. She hopped up into the chair behind the desk and placed her front paws on top of the desk before her. Doing so felt strange to a dog who had always been a stray. It almost felt surreal to her, but she decided not to comment. Angel had come into the class to learn about ancient history, as strange as that sounded, and she wasn't about to leave with any disappointment. So, she affixed her gaze on Daring Do and her tail wagged ever so slightly.
She thought about speaking, but as she opened her mouth she found that words failed her. Angel had never seen a pegasus before, and sitting before one was just... Odd. Still, she wasn't about to be deterred. Instead, she would stay focused to the best of her abilities and wait for the pegasus to speak first.

Maybe Elsa will be in this one.
It had become a near constant refrain for Anna since her arrival here. The young princess of Arrendale had been determined, now that her sister was out of the castle for once, to rekindle the bond they had shared - but so far, Elsa had done just as good a job of avoiding her here as back home. They hadn't even had any classes together yet, though Anna was ever hopeful that it could only be a matter of time. As she pushed open the door to the history classroom, though, Anna could already tell that she was going to be disappointed yet again. There were only two others present; a small dog who, like herself, wore the school's uniform sitting at one of the desks, and a winged horse in more casual-looking clothes standing at the front of the class - Anna tried not to stare. She'd got used to the fact that there were creatures of all shapes and sizes - and that most of them knew how to talk, too - but she hadn't expected to be the only human in any of her classes.
Given that she was the only other student present, rather than spacing themselves out around the room, Anna chose the seat beside the canine. She would have scratched between the small dog's ears as she sat; but not sure that a talking dog would take as well to the gesture as a normal one would, she refrained from the impulse.
"Well, this is a... small class," she observed, more to break the silence that had otherwise threatened to hang in the air than any other reason. Of course, the other students could just be late, but so far it looked like she and the blonde dog were the only ones there.

History. Honestly, Kristoff wasn't sure why he needed to be taking this class, let alone why he was at this school in the first place. He lived in the mountains and harvested ice for a living. Was learning about history going to really help him out much?
Kristoff highly doubted it. Yet, here he was, walking into history class. The bulky blonde opened the door to reveal a rather small class. A dog, a horse with wings, and one other human. Seeing animals around was surprising to him, and hearing them actually talk was even stranger. He was quick to notice that he would have to adjust to it fast, otherwise he'd be far too distracted to actually get anything done. It looked like everyone - as in the only two other students - were sitting close to one another.
Not wanting to completely isolate himself, the ice harvester took a seat near the other students present. The mountaineer wasn't disappointed in the small class. He wasn't much of a conversationalist, so a smaller class meant he didn't have too many other people to talk to. That was probably a good thing, seeing as how Kristoff didn't have a whole lot of experience when it came to interacting with people. "I honestly think this is the smallest class I've been to," he decided to comment, readjusting his green tie as he said so. Did they really need to be wearing these outfits all the time?

Daring Do watched the class as they entered. Two humans, and a dog. Small but effective. She knew that there would be at least one more student to come in eventually, the bell for the class hadn't even started yet. "Good afternoon class." she said to the ones that were there so far. "My name is Daring Do, you may call me that if you want, or you can just call me Professor Daring." she said coming to the front of the room where she could see the three students. "Welcome to Ancient History. While we wait for the other student to come, perhaps we should get to know each other."
This wasn't so bad actually. The nerves were already leaving. "Does anyone have any questions?"

History. Now this was a class Rapunzel was excited for. Having only ever interacted with her mother, and thus only knowing what she told her, she didn’t know a whole lot about the worlds history. But Rapunzel was only all too enthusiastic to learn. Pushing her bangs behind her ear and straightening out her sky blue vest, she entered the class with a smile on her face. Two human students like her, a small blonde dog, and a pony as a teacher. To be honest, as this place was Rapunzel’s only experience with school, as far as she was concerned animals in the classroom were the norm.
It was a small group, but she was sure more would show up. The school didn’t really have a shortage of students, at least not as far as she could tell. Then again students could always just decide to not show up. Why they’d do that was beyond her, but it was still a possibility.
With the professors offer to get to know each other, Rapunzel looked around their small but growing group to see if anyone would volunteer. She would, but really what was so interesting about her life? Getting past her long locks, she’d spent all of her life in a tower, she’d much rather hear about someone else.

The scarlet eyed professor sighed, seeing as that it seemed that no one was going to volunteered. Maybe it was the fact that all these humans and dogs were still getting over the fact she was a Pegasus, maybe it was more of a tradition to talk about herself before getting to know her students. But she didn't even know where to begin. "I guess I should state that this is my first time teaching." she said blowing a lock of her mane out of her eyes. "I know its not as fun as let's say sword fighting or whatever you humans do. But I can at least try to make it exciting."

Emerald orbs gazed at the slip of paper, before glancing back up at the number listed on the door. Yes, this was the right room. Slowly reaching out to grasp the handle the demon fox in human guise entered the classroom. As he looked around it appeared that he wasn't the first one here, it would seem that he wasn't the only one who liked to arrive at class early. Though he supposed this wouldn't necessarily be early. Helping himself to the desk at the far end of the room, he offered a polite nod to Darling. "I haven't come a bit late, have I?" He couldn't help but ask, despite knowing, from the rather obvious lack of students and the fact that the bell had yet to ring, that he was, indeed, not late.
Unlike most, he wasn't the least bit put off by the fact that two of the occupants of the room were animals. He could have included himself in this, seeing as he was in fact a fox, but he did not. However this could also come the fact he'd lived much longer then anyone in the room. Glancing toward the teacher's desk, he noticed a row of varying artifacts, all clearly from different time eras as well as from differing lands. One in particular really caught his eye, it had a large gem embedded in it... Snapping his eyes away from the treasure and turning them toward Darling once more, Kurama quickly reminded himself that he was no longer the notorious thief he had been as 'Youko' and was currently 'Shuichi', there for shiny objects were off limits.
For now, the only thing the kitsune should focus on was the history class. And with one last glance toward the artifacts he intended to do just that. "Professor, might I ask what those are?" Kurama asked, finally giving in to temptation, and pointing toward the treasures.

Get to know each other? Okay, Anna was up for that. If she wasn't going to see Elsa in this class, she may as well take advantage of being outside and away from the castle to actually make some friends for a change. Before speaking, however, she took a glance at the other two new arrivals. A guy who looked rugged enough to haul rocks for a living and a girl with the longest hair she could have ever imagined. Anna couldn't imagine what a nightmare that must have been to care for; some days, she found it enough of a chore to braid her own hair, which wasn't anything like as long as the other girl's had to be. Was it maybe a fashion of some kind to wear hair so long?
Well, as no-one else had spoken up save for the teacher confessing her own inexperience, Anna decided she might as well go first. She wasn't sure if Professor Daring had meant for them to talk one-on-one or to introduce themselves to the whole class, so the girl opted for the latter. Standing from her seat, Anna hastily checked that her navy-blue tie was straight before opening her mouth to speak. "Okay, I'm Anna. I'm the princess of Arendelle; but not the princess who's next in line, that's my sister... who apparently isn't in this class?" While she had felt the need to clarify it at the time, just in case anyone took her for a future queen, now Anna had a vague feeling that particular addition hadn't really been necessary after all. In fact, mentioning that she was princess might not have been the best idea at all; she didn't want to intimidate anyone. Still, it was a fairly big part of who she was, so it was probably better to have it out there, Anna reassured herself.
She was saved saying anything else, however, by the arrival of another boy. As the newcomer began asking about the objects on the teacher's desk, Anna made to return to her seat beside the small dog; she wasn't sure if this meant the time for getting to know each other was over for now and the class was begining, but if it was, she was prepared to pay attention.

Daring Do nodded with a smile at Anna's introduction. Before she could say anything else, more students arrived. one of them brought up the questions of what the treasures were. "Thank you Anna, i look forward to getting to know more about you. Sorry, but i do not think your sister will be in this class. Her name isn't on my sheet." she tried to give an apologetic smile before returning her attention to her items on her desk.
"These are the many ancient treasures that I collected on my many adventures." she said with pride in her voice and a bold smile. "These treasures taught me many things about history along with the areas that I got them in."

Great. She was the only animal in the class aside from the teacher, it seemed. What had Angel gotten herself into by signing up for the class? Well, she didn't know... It would just have to go on before she figured it out. Everyone else looked relatively similar, minus hair color and build of their bodies. For a moment, the stray had to wonder what the others thought of her being there. Did they think it strange? Would they question it? Well, either way, Angel wasn't necessarily looking forward to any of it. She got some relief, though, when Daring Do asked the others to introduce themselves and confessed to her own inexperience as a teacher. A slight smirk formed on the pom's face; admitting such a thing on the streets would definitely have gotten her into trouble. However, Angel could forgive it. It was Daring's first day, after all.
Then, Anna and Kurama began the introductions. The fact that Anna was a princess kind of surprised Angel, and she had to look back to the one who had spoken just to get a better look at her. She didn't necessarily... Look like a princess. The explanation that she wasn't the next in line for the throne kind of explained it, though. Perhaps she got a bit more free reign than the other princess in question, who evidently wasn't in the class. As for Kurama, Angel didn't quite know what to make of him. His hair certainly was a sight, she could say that much.
Clearing her throat slightly, Angel decided to take it from there.
"I'm Angel, and... It looks like this is going to be an interesting class. Being the only dog in here so far, I mean... I guess you could say that's what makes me stand out?"

Rapunzel listened to the princess introduce herself to the class. She'd never met any princesses before, Anna didn't exactly look like the ones she'd read about that wore big colorful dresses and fabulous tiaras with long shimmering hair. Not that she looked bad! Just not as... froufrou as Rapunzel had imagined. But that was why she was here, right? To learn about the world in a way she never could up in her tower with her nose in a book.
When the teacher spoke of the trinkets she’d put out, her eyes widened. "You found all those yourself?" She asked the pegasus in wonder, emerald eyes sweeping over the artifacts set out. "You must have seen everything." The healer was officially interested. She wanted to know the story behind each and every one of them. Collecting them all must have been one adventure after another. However, she had enough sense to know that this probably wasn't the time for that. She'd have to bring it up later. For now, though, she turned her attention to the small canine who was currently introducing herself.

Introduce themselves? Oh, that sounded like tons of fun. Kristoff was just the best with talking to people. However, he was distracted when the door opened up once more. The burly blonde watched with interest as a few more students arrived. One of them was another blonde, except her hair was extremely long. How did she ever handle that much hair? Kristoff decided not to make a comment on it and did his best to focus on the front of the room as opposed to staring at the girl's hair. She probably got enough stares anyway. Then a guy walked in, coincidentally with eye-catching hair too. Sure, it wasn't quite so long, but it was an interesting sight to see. The mountaineer shifted in his seat, attempting to make himself more comfortable when the newcomer commented on the artifacts and received a reply from Daring Do.
Honey brown eyes stared upwards at Anna when the girl stood up to introduce herself. She was a princess? A princess of Arendelle, at that? He couldn't help but find that odd. Why were the princesses here at this school? From what Anna said, it was safe to assume Elsa was somewhere in the school too. A look crossed between confusion and curiosity took over his facial features. When the dog spoke up, his gaze shifted towards her. Angel was her name, and for the moment, she was the only animal student present.
The blonde gal spoke up about the artifacts, and then he decided that he should introduce himself. Opting to not get out of his seat, the mountaineer spoke up. "Um, I'm Kristoff, I live over in the mountains, and I sell ice for a living." There. He was done. That was all that he needed to say, and hopefully that would tell enough about him. The rugged guy wasn't too open about himself, nor did was he much of a sharer. Especially around those he just met. He'd just have to hope his introduction would suffice.

Elegant brow rose as Kurama watched the students around him stand and state their names and a little about themselves. They were doing introductions, huh? Perhaps he had missed the memo. He wondered briefly if it would be wise to stand as well, but then he decided that maybe that would be best, seeing as everyone else in the room appeared to be. Rising from his desk, he cleared his throat to draw any strayed attention toward himself.
"I suppose, seeing as everyone else in the room is doing so, I should introduce myself. I am Shuichi Minamino, but you may call me Kurama." He offered a small smile to the other students and to the teacher before seating himself once more. As almost an after thought he decided to add to the conversation he'd began with Darling. "Also, if I may ask, what lands did these magnificent artifacts come from?" He still couldn't help eyeing the one that had caught his eye when he'd first arrived. The teacher might have to keep a close eye on her treasures, or she might just end up loosing one to the kitsune's sticky fingers. Still, for now, Kurama was content to simply stare and wonder. After all, no good thief went in completely blind.

Daring Do's eyes sparkled as the student asked her a question of where she had gotten her treasures. "These, these treasures came from my own home known as Equestria, they come from various areas around. It is not much but they took a ver long time to get them. Where they come from, well, that's sort of what i am going to be teaching you. Where they come from, when they were made, and even why they were made." She cleared her throat. "Now, seeing as that today is just the beginning of the semester, I am only going to be requiring you to read the first chapter of your text book."
