(September 4th during free period. Open to Sync & Vanellope.)
Vanellope and Sync would both receive an invitation in front of them before they were done with classes. Delivered by Gummy of course. Pinke'd skipped her other classes and spent time setting up a corner of the theater with her party supplies. Pink streamers, multicolored balloons, confetti and other party items were strewn through out the space. Pinkie's best punch plus a massive cake was in the center of all the noise. She was bouncing up and down with a party hat on her head, awaiting the arrival of her guests.
Pinkie placed Gummy on a theater chair and got down on his level. "Oh Gummy! It was awful! They'd never been invited to a party before! They didn't have any friends! That's the saddest thing I've ever seen! I mean when they don't have friends, how do they laugh or have fun? And the little girl seemed so sad! Like she'd never laughed or played or did anything! So Gummy, I said we have to fix THAT! And that's where you came in!"
The alligator chomped at the air. "You are so right Gummy! MORE STREAMERS! WOOP!" Pinkie slammed a party hat on Gummy's head before bouncing about and waiting. Just waiting for her guests to arrive.

This, definitely, was a strange turn of events.
Sync had received an invitation of some kind, which was strange in and of itself since he never got invited anywhere, but when he read what was inside the invitation he was left reeling a bit. That pink pony from his circle was inviting him to some kind of a party? Sync almost wanted to just forget the whole thing had happened and train in the practice arena for a good long time, but he was admittedly intrigued by the matter. Why would Pinkie be so determined to invite him to a party and go to all this trouble when he was nothing but garbage? Maybe it was one last hoorah before the fights? Sync decided he didn't care enough to question it any further.
So, the green-haired teen made his way to the theater.
The sight that greeted him when he arrived was what appeared to be a room that a birthday party or something had exploded all over. ...How would Sync even know that? He'd never even had a birthday party in his entire life. Well, it didn't matter. Sync was there and, in spite of himself, looked a little awed by how much trouble Pinkie had gone to.
"You went to all this trouble? Just because I've never been to a party before?" Sync finally asked as he stepped forward. His attitude appeared to have shifted ever so slightly. He wasn't sneering at everything around him, nor was he mocking everything in sight. He was just intrigued more than anything. Maybe even awed.

Vanellope wasn't sure why she'd thought this party would be a good idea to attend. In fact, she suspected it could only be a spectacularly bad one, if any of the times she'd even got close to this kind of gathering back in Sugar Rush were any indication. Then again, she'd never been invited to any of them - that was another thing, actually. Why would anyone single someone like her out to attend a party in any case? She never recieved invitations to anything; so it was only natural that the girl's first instinct had been to dismiss it as a trick. Possibly someone who took exception to glitches - there had to be people like that here, even if she hadn't encountered them yet - and wanted to make her look like a fool.
Still, the invitation had been in the name of that singing pony from manners class; and though Vanellope wasn't inclined to be trusting, given her past, even she had a hard time imagining that Pinkie would be up to anything malicious. So, possibly against her better judgement, Vanellope had decided to show. She hadn't bothered heading back to the Earth Circle dorms to change first, however, so was still clad in her uniform as she approached the theatre doors.
What would be actually waiting for her inside? Some sort of trap, or - as unlikely as it sounded to her - an actual party? There was only one real way to find out, she supposed. Pushing the doors open, she slipped inside.
It looked as if a small bomb made up of confetti and streamers had exploded all over the theatre, and Vanellope had to blink in surprise. It really was a party? Catching sight of Sync there too, Vanellope quickly put two and two together. A slight shudder of code ran the length of her form.
"You did this all because we said we didn't have friends?" she asked, slightly disbelieving, unaware that she was echoing roughly the same sentiment Sync had just voiced.

Pinkie smiled brightly. Her guests had arrived! Bouncing past the alligator who'd taken to chewing on a theater seat, Pinkie slapped a party hat on top of Sync & Vanellope's heads. "Welcome to your first ever party party!" She kept bouncing as she spoke. She was so excited to see her guests and as far as she was concerned new friends had arrived. Their questions filled her with glee. But also confusion. In Ponyville, she was known for doing just that. Making a pony smile by throwing a party or bringing a cake to them.
"Well of course! When you said in class that you hadn't ever ever EVER been invited to a party, I got so sad! Everypony deserves to be invited to a party at least once! But also twice! I think three thousand six hundred and twenty FIVE times is even more perfect!" She giggled and bounced towards the tables.
"So here we have a delicious cake! And also punch I made! We can also play pin the tail on the pony, or dance or whatever! It's YOUR party!" Pinkie grinned, hoping her party was up to par.

Vanellope looked slightly startled as Pinkie slammed a silly hat down atop her head, but declined to comment on it. Maybe this was just what people did at parties; she didn't really have a clue. She glanced at Sync, wondering exactly how the green-haired male was reacting to all this - he seemed vaguely stunned, she thought? - before looking all around her again, not completely believing that this was real. She was the mistake who wasn't even meant to exist, everyone said so; the idea of someone caring enough to throw her a party was completely alien to the little girl. She wasn't exactly going to question it, but...
Without another word, Vanellope took a step forward, towards the cake Pinkie had pointed out. In perfect honesty, it reminded her of Sugar Rush; it looked a lot like the cliffs at the edge of the candy tree forest. Without really thinking about it, the girl scooped a handful of frosting from the cake's edge, which she popped into her mouth.
Their party, Pinkie had said? What did anyone even do at parties? She'd watched from afar as the other kids had celebrations, but didn't have any real clue what sort of thing was actually done. Dancing, pinning tails on ponies, these were all new concepts to Vanellope. Again, she glanced at Sync, hoping that he would speak; because she didn't really have a clue what to say.

Our party...
The normally crass, crude, and rude teen was clearly speechless. No one had ever thrown him a party back home, not even his instructor who had taken him in, so it went without saying that he was blown away. Parties were for people who had purposes, weren't they? They were for people who had a reason to live, people who had people who cared about them, and no one else. At least, that was what Sync had convinced himself of. Truth be told, he'd kind of always wondered what parties were even like. He'd heard about his fair share of them when he'd been home in Daath, and although he'd never been invited and convinced himself that he didn't want to go anyway, there was still that hint of wonder in those green eyes of his.
"We can do anything we want, huh?" Sync asked at length. Where did one even start when they'd essentially been granted total freedom? For that matter, what did one even do at a party to begin with? He almost felt stupid for needing to ask.
"...What should we even do?"

The pink hyper active pony bounced up and down a few more times. She was happy to see that Vanellope had taken some icing. "Usually, I don't use a plate either! Sometimes I swallow the whole cake in one bite! But that gets everypony upset because they couldn't have a piece!" Pinkie looked at the confused looking pair and stopped bouncing. She was so sad that these kids, these people had never been to a party before. Her ears flickered as she straightened Sync's hat before placing her hooves on the ground.
"I suggested pin the tail on the pony, we can start there!" Pinkie pointed to the poster where a fun little pony without a tail was. "Okie dokie lokie! So what you do is you try and get this tail on the back end of this pony! Buuuuuut..." She sped towards Vanellope and wrapped her eyes, blindfolding her. "YOU CAN'T SEE!! HEHEHEHEHEHE!"
She placed the tail in her small hand. "ALRIGHT! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!"

"He-ey!" Vanellope almost panicked for a moment as she suddenly felt something wrapped around her face, at least until Pinkie's words registered. This was just part of the game, okay. The pony could have warned her beforehand, but she could manage.
Mostly.
The glitched girl had a vague idea that she didn't have a clear run to the pony figure, but she couldn't remember exactly what had been between her and it. Whatever it was, Vanellope was certain that she didn't want to trip over it, so the blindfolded glitch began shuffling slowly foreward, her arms outstretched to try and feel her way forward.
"Do I get some direction or somethin'? I don't even know I'm going the right way," she asked at length, after narrowly avoiding a head-on collision with the table where the cake was set up. The idea of asking to tell her where to walk and trusting them to actually help rather than hinder her was a new one entirely - in fact, the one time she'd been in a similar situation with her vision accidentally obscured back in Sugar Rush, some of the other racers had 'helpfully' guided her straight into the taffy swamp, and that had been no fun at all - but oddly enough, she didn't get the impression that Pinkie was out to hurt her. She wasn't going to blindly trust the pony but, in this context, Vanellope figured she'd probably be alright.
