[ooc: September 5th, right before the fights. Open to Anna, Elsa and Sweetie Belle. Just for some cute bonding]
The white unicorn watched the clock in the corner of the room, she just sat there, her eyes moving back and forth in time with the clock. Maybe it was because she was nervous but watching the hands moved seem to provide a little comfort to the filly, not much but still a little. She had seen the lists after her classes, and had felt a drop in her stomach. Scoots and Babs were going to be fighting. It had been something that they had been dreading for so long. Now, she had felt bad for not keeping the promise of sneaking out to try to change the list.
Did that make her a bad friend? What if they kicked her out of the group? She shook her head. "NO!" she muttered loudly. "No, No Sweetie Belle, no use thinking like that." she stepped away from the clock and began to pace the room, or rather walk in a circle in the center. "Can you get a cutie-mark in worrying?" No other pony had that kind of mark before.
She didn't want anyone to fight, especially not her friends. A sudden noise of a door opening, made her jump high in the air out of habit.

Come on, come on... Keep it together. Conceal it, don't feel it. Jack is going to be fine... He has to be okay...
In what had to be the ultimate rare occurrence, Elsa had actually gone to the library that day. She'd gone to look into a book, mainly to see if she'd just been unlucky in asking the servants back home to retrieve a specific book from the castle library and turning up nothing, but had been shocked to see the list had actually been posted. What was worse, her friend was on that list. Strange though it was, she was genuinely worried about Jack and concerned for his safety. She didn't know who Kristoff was off the bat and she didn't know what he was like, but she sincerely hoped that Jack would be able to get through the fight all right.
...Her worrying was making her power act up a bit.
The whole way back to the water circle dorms, Elsa had been fighting an internal struggle to keep her ice powers from revealing themselves somehow through her anxiety. She'd practically run away when she felt her powers beginning to flare up within her, and even the gloves she wore hadn't made it any better. So, Elsa had just run with her arms crossed protectively in front of her and hadn't dared look to see if anyone had noticed anything. She was safe knowing her powers hadn't actually done anything, but her behavior was bound to have gotten someone's attention as she ran back to the dorms. All she could do was hope Anna hadn't been one of the ones who had potentially seen her leaving.
In her haste to get back to the safety of the dorms, Elsa didn't realize she might have startled anyone by opening the door as quickly as she did. When she saw Sweetie Belle jump up in surprise, a gasp of her own escaped her and she tried once more to calm herself. Seeing it was just a child, though, did calm her to some degree. The anxiety was still inside her, it was true enough, but she felt a little better knowing it was Sweetie Belle she had scared and not Anna.
"I'm sorry to have frightened you. I didn't think anyone else would be in here," Elsa said.

The white filly shook her head with a tiny smile. "It's okay." she replied. "I guess I am just kind of on edge...my friends are in the fights today and I am worried." she didn't want to go watch the fights but in a way she wanted to give her support to her friends. But the filly didn't want to see them hurt each other either. Her green eyes glanced up at Elsa, she had seen the young girl around before.
She could see that there was worry in her eyes as well. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Do you have friends in the fights too?"

I wish I could say it was just that...
Elsa did nod in response to Sweetie's question, but it wasn't entirely true. Yes she was worried about Jack, but that wasn't her only problem. Keeping her powers contained when she felt like this was always difficult. Jack was the only person she could tell, though. Her sister's memories of her powers had been wiped and she didn't trust anyone else to know about them. So, she had to keep quiet about that much. Sweetie Belle didn't need to know that much.
"I'm sure your friends will be okay. I don't think the fights are supposed to be to the death. ...Not today, anyway," Elsa said. She hated knowing that much. Any Friday could be turned into a massacre if they weren't careful, and the fact that the people in charge would let it happen made Elsa sick. As a princess, the crown princess at that, she couldn't allow such a thing to happen. But here she was powerless to stop that much. Back home she might have been able to do something, but here? She was just a princess with ice powers. No one would listen to her, especially not the people in charge, and there was little she could do about it.
...She didn't believe she'd seen Sweetie Belle around before. Then again, Elsa hadn't exactly gone out of her way to get to know the other members of her circle. The fact that she hadn't even known Yosuke's name was all the proof she'd needed for that much.
"What's your name, little one?"

Sweetie Belle looked at Elsa with curious green eyes. She seemed so sure that they would be okay. Maybe she just needed to try to believe in them. "I'm Sweetie Belle." she replied with a smile She hadn't gotten to know many of the water circle members yet besides Kevin. She was relieved to know that there were other nice members and while Elsa seemed shy and reserved, it didn't bother her that much.
The young filly thought Elsa had an air of elegance and grace around her, not to mention she was nice.

Well... what had that been about?
Anna didn't mean to pry into any secrets her sister might have after her long years of effective solitary confinement, but seeing Elsa sprinting towards their dorms with her arms clenched tightly in front of her had definitely raised not only the younger girl's eyebrows, but a fair few questions, too. Could be, of course, that Elsa had lost one of her gloves and was really that worried about dirt; but Anna had a vague feeling there may have been more to it than that. So the redheaded princess had trailed her older sibling back to their circle's home territory. Whatever was troubling Elsa, Anna wanted to see if there was anything she could do.
For a moment, she lingered outside the entrance to the dorms, wondering if she should knock first. That had never yeilded any results back home, it was true; but it would be the polite thing to do, wouldn't it? After a brief deliberation, however, Anna realised she could hear voices - Elsa and someone else, talking - so decided she was probably alright to enter.
Pushing the door open, Anna found herself greeted by the sight of her sister talking to one of those colourful ponies who seemed to be prominant around her; though unlike Professor Daring, this one had no wings, and instead a single horn... a unicorn? She hadn't thought those really existed.
"Am I interrupting anything?" she asked, hoping that the answer would be 'no'; it would be awkward to ask Elsa what was wrong if she'd just butted straight into a completely unrelated conversation.

Sweetie Belle... It was an unusual name, but Elsa had come to expect that much beyond the safety and seclusion of the castle. She prepared to tell Sweetie her own name, but found that she and the little unicorn were no longer alone. Just listening told Elsa all she needed to know; Anna had come looking for her. Elsa wasn't about to push Anna away this time, as it felt like maybe her power was beginning to grow less restless within her, and so she shook her head a little in answer to her sister's question. It hadn't been a terribly irrelevant conversation since it did connect to why Elsa had left the library in such a hurry, but it didn't answer the full question.
"Don't worry, Anna. You haven't interrupted anything," Elsa said. Somehow, she managed to retain her usual composure in her voice. It was her eyes that may have given everything away if they still contained that lingering worry about her powers and Jack.
"Sweetie Belle, this is my sister Anna. And... I'm Elsa," she said as she turned her attention back to the little unicorn. That would get introductions out of the way on both their parts, at least. Now she had a good feeling about what was coming, though, and she wasn't entirely looking forward to it. Elsa had subconsciously brought her arms a bit closer to her body in an effort to finally quell her internal struggle. It seemed to be working to a degree, but it wasn't exactly going to keep her sister and Sweetie Belle from asking questions if they wanted to.

Sweetie Belle smiled and turned to the newcomer. "Nice to meet you Anna." she said happy that she didn't have to be alone waiting for the results of the fights. Still, she felt a little bad. "Are you two going to watch the fights?" she asked, the unicorn only knew of a few other students that would be going to watch the fights and that's because either they wanted to show support or they just wanted to see blood. The idea made Sweetie Belle feel sick.
She didn't want to talk about that though. Hopefully one of the two girls would bring up another subject to talk about.

"Oh, good. That might have been embarassing." The younger of the two princesses stepped fully into the room, letting the door swing closed behind her, and glanced across at the blonde girl. Huh. Elsa was still wearing her gloves; that couldn't have been what the issue was, then. Anna's curiosity about her sister's odd behaviour was growing stronger; but since Elsa seemed to be less on the verge of freaking out now, Anna decided to hold off the questions; at least until she had answered the little unicorn's immediate questions.
"It's nice to meet you, too," she replied, smiling down at Sweetie Belle. "You're a unicorn, aren't you? We heard stories about them when we were kids."
At the pony's question, Anna shook her head. "I don't even know who any of the fighters are except for Kristoff, and I barely know him." If she did, that would have been different, and if it had been Elsa who had to fight - though she hoped that day wouldn't come - nothing could have kept Anna from being there to provide moral support; but while she wasn't close to any of the fighters, the redhead prefered not to watch the brutal display.

Sweetie Bell's eyes lit up. "Yup, that's me." she said. "My sister Rarity is also a unicorn." The young one still wondered how her sister would react to this situation. No doubt the older would see it as uncivilized. "I hope those stories were good ones, we have unicorns in ponyville, not a lot but quite a few." Her nerves seemed to settle down as she talked to the two girls.
It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders "I hope that the fights aren't too bad." she whispered before looking up at Anna. "Do you remember any of those stories about unicorns?" she almost sounded like a little kid wanting to hear a bedtime story

Inhale... Exhale... Relax, Elsa, relax... It's going to be okay.
With the conversation slowly being turned away from the fights, Elsa was able to make herself relax a bit more easily. Slowly, she began to ease her arms away from their position tucked in close to her body, and a more natural smile returned to her face when Anna began to ask about Sweetie Belle's unicorniness. The fact that Sweetie Belle was asking about what stories they had heard regarding her species just struck the crown princess as adorable, too. She had to stop for a minute and think about what she could remember regarding unicorn mythos she had read while being isolated.
"In some stories I read, unicorns were described as a symbol of purity and grace. Their horns had the power to heal the sick and cleanse water tainted by poison, and they were creatures that could only be met by special individuals," Elsa said. Not special like herself, though. Elsa doubted the unicorns of myth would want to meet someone who was capable of harming them with her sometimes unstable powers. Disregarding that, though, the unicorns of story did sound different from the one standing right before them. Sweetie Belle was so young, and her horn so short, that Elsa was kind of curious about whether or not she would have been able to hold such power as had been described in the stories.
"I also read something regarding unicorns that were born with wings as well. The story only called them winged unicorns, though, and I can't recall much about it..."

Sweetie Belle listened to the stories with big eyes. She had never heard these stories before. Not many stories were known about unicorns in Ponyville. There was Daring Do stories but those had been more for the older ones. These stories however, were amazing to hear about. "Rarity is sort of a symbol of grace." Sweetie Belle said. "At least I think so."
Wow. Horns that can heal sick. Maybe she could get her cutiemark in that, glancing up at her horn she frowned. It didn't seem likely that she could cure the sick. "Oh, I know those kinds of creatures. They are called Alicorns. Princess Celestia and Luna are alicorns. They rule over Equestria."
She looked up at Elsa and Anna thinking for a moment. "I think Elsa would be a great unicorn. Anna reminds me of a pegasus." she nodded as if she had decided that this was now a true fact. She was glad that Anna and Elsa had been the ones to come in and talk to her. It made her feel safer.

"Isn't it usually the king or queen who would rule?" Anna questioned after a moment, regarding the Alicorns. "Me and Elsa are princesses too, but it's our parents who rule Arendelle." Elsa would one day, but she would be a queen by then, too; though maybe it was just different for ponies. Either way, Anna wasn't certain pursuing the matter would really be worth it.
"Being able to fly would be pretty amazing," Anna agreed, stretching as though she were flexing imaginary wings. That was what Pegasi were, wasn't it? Flying horses? Anna didn't recall the stories of them as clearly as she did the ones of unicorns, but she did remember hearing of them. That would certainly be one way to see more of the world. And Elsa as a unicorn... well, her sister could certainly be regal enough, Anna figured. At least, when she wasn't tearing across the school grounds with her arms clamped to her chest - but as much as she wanted to ask about that, however, Anna didn't think now was quite the time.

Princesses ruling side by side... Such a thing would have been strange for herself and Anna, but Elsa supposed ponies did things a bit differently than humans. As for herself being a unicorn, Elsa did kind of like to imagine herself hold a certain air of grace and regality about her. When she wasn't tearing across half the school trying to keep herself from freezing everything, of course. That had been frightening, really. Her gloves hadn't been able to stop her power from growing within her and threatening to spill out for all the world to see. She should have known that would be the case, though. Just a few years ago, when she was on the cusp of turning fourteen, Elsa's power had had similar problems when she was upset or frightened.
'No, don't touch me! I don't want to hurt you...'
Elsa remembered that conversation with her parents all too well, but now wasn't the time to dwell on it. She had to shake her head for a moment just to clear away those thoughts regarding her powers and instead turned her thoughts back to the unicorns of Sweetie Belle's world. What were the unicorns of a pony world like, and what talents did they hold that made them different from the ones her sister and she had read about?
"So, two alicorns ruling side by side... What else can you tell us about unicorns and alicorns from where you come from?" Elsa asked. She decided that standing was no longer the most comfortable position to be in, and so Elsa seated herself in a nearby chair so she could be in a bit more comfort while listening to Sweetie Belle.

Sweetie Belle titled her head to the side. "Um, well, I am not sure about the King and Queen, we only know Princess Celestia and Luna. In Equestria, they help rule. Celestia raises the sun and Luna does the moon. It's always been like that." She didn't go into the whole nightmare moon side of it. She took a seat on the ground in the center. "Where I'm from, Ponyville, every pony has a special mark, its called a cutie-mark, it shows their special talent. Twilight Sparkle, she is Celestia's student, and her talent is magic."
She wondered what Elsa's cutie-mark would be. Maybe a crown? Or something else? "A cutie-mark shows up when a pony finds out what makes them special, but me and my friends Scootaloo, Babs and Applebloom don't have ours yet. We were hoping to find them here, but I don't really want to get a special mark in fighting." She couldn't imagine someone taking joy in beating others to a blood-pulp.
"Oh, and in Canterlot we have a big party called the Grand Galloping Gala, that's like a ball I think. Everyone gets dressed up and its really fun." At least that's what Rarity had told her when she had gone.
