((Frick, sorry I took forever to get around to this and that I can't come up with titles to save my life. ^^; September 5th, before the fights, closed to Kristoff and Anna.))
Out of who knew how many students were attending the school, Kristoff just happened to be picked for the first fight night. At least he didn't have to fight someone he knew well. Kristoff already didn't know a lot of people very well, and fighting one of the few people he actually bothered to confide in was something he would have been incredibly uncomfortable with. Then again, just fighting against someone was already uncomfortable. In attempts to get his mind off what was going to happen, Kristoff decided he was going to take a trip over to the Four Circle Quad. A grumpy frown was stuck on his face as he trudged into the quad, lugging some history book with him. He didn't really plan on reading it, he just figured it would be good to seem like he was working instead of worrying about the fight.
Brown eyes were focused on the floor before glancing up to see a familiar face nearby. Wasn't she a princess? The thought distracted Kristoff to the point where he fumbled with his book and watched it drop to the ground. "Oh, good, another great thing to add to my day," he grumbled to himself.

"Hey, you were the ice merchant, right?"
The thump of a heavy book hitting the ground had drawn Anna's attention, or the princess might not even have realised Kristoff was there at all. She had just been hanging around the quad in between classes, flicking idly through one of her school textbooks and fiddling slightly with the knot of her tie when the sound had alerted her to the fact that she wasn't alone; and as the girl turned, she quickly recognised the male from ancient history class. She hadn't really given him a second thought at the time; now, however, he was someone to talk to - even if he did smell a bit like a reindeer - so Anna had decided to strike up the conversation.
"Is that a... good business to be in?" she couldn't help but enquire. She'd heard there was an ice merchant who showed up in Arendelle from time to time too; but students here came from all over, so she couldn't really imagine him and this guy to be connected in any way. What would be the chances of that?
