(ooc: September 1st. Open to Rita, Dixie, and anyone taking their class.)
"There's only us, there's only us Forget, regret, or life is yours to miss No other path, no other way No day but today"
The stray feline's voice echoed through the empty theater as she crossed the stage. She may not have been taken for a teacher at first glance, but that was what Rita was. Sure she had no idea why they thought her skilled enough to be a teacher. Sure she didn't know if she would even be able to stand the idea of teaching at all. Regardless of all of that, the grey and white cat decided to go along with it. Supposedly she was meant to be teaching alongside another teacher. Rita hadn't gone out of her way to meet the other vocals teacher yet, but she silently hoped they would at least get along.
Silence followed, and Rita sat down on the middle of the stage for a few moments. So far it was just her and this kind of bothered her a little. Where were the students? The other teacher? Strange...
"Yeah, fine. Go ahead and take your sweet, sweet time," she muttered.

A grey cat! How interesting! Looks like Zelda would have a replacement on Dixie's hip. She smiled as she pushed open the stage door with a slender golden paw. She heard the end of a tragic sounding, beautiful soulful voice. Her fellow voice teacher no doubt! Dixie smiled, tail whipping back and forth. The female held no grudge against felines in the slightest so she hoped the cat would have no qualms against her canine breed. She trotted towards the stage, opening her jaws to continue the song.
"I can't control My destiny I trust my soul My only hope is just to be."
She lept up on the stage near the cat. "Sorry ah'm late, nobody told me we weren't teachin' in the actual building." She placed her rear on the ground and pushed her ear to the side. "I'm Dixie, what's yer name?"

An ear flicked as Dixie joined her, and Rita glanced the dog's way. Age made it obvious that Dixie wasn't a student, and the sound of her voice made it more than apparent that she had skill. A smile tugged at Rita's lips when she concluded this was her partner. Good; at least they could get the introductions out of the way while waiting for their students to arrive. Assuming, of course, they had any students at all. She knew the prospect of taking vocals might not have been entirely thrilling to some students. But, who knew? Maybe they'd get someone to show up.
"Eh, no big deal. They only just sprung the room change on me a little while ago. Guess they thought it'd be better if we had a place better suited for the vocals we're gonna have," Rita said. She wasn't about to complain about it, either. The theater was perfect for this sort of class, at least in her opinion, and her understanding was that the mansion may not have provided what they needed. So she was fine with the placement of the class.
"Name's Rita. Good ta meet ya," she said at length. She'd have offered a paw to shake, but the thought didn't occur to her. Instead, she was more focused on wondering whether or not they'd get anyone to teach at all.
"So, how likely do ya think it is we'll get anyone here?"

The first student who entered was young Sweetie Belle. She had practically bounced in, her head bobbing to a tune she was humming. So far, she was the only one in the class. As far as she could see. The dog and cat were talking amongst each other. The young unicorn could only assume that they were the teachers. That, caused her to tilt her head in confusion. Didn't dogs and cats hate each other? No, no stuff like that probably didn't matter in this school.
"Um. This is Vocals class right?" she asked. "I'm...Sweetie Belle."
