(September 5th breakfast time. Open to all of the teachers.)
Lips on the feline parted as Sawyer stirred her coffee with a slender silver spoon. She sighed as she tilted her head to the side, staring as the rain pattered outside the window of the bar. The bar which for the teachers was turned into a breakfast buffet. Sawyer had in front of her a small stack of pancakes, fluffy eggs and a circular sausage. Her coffee was accompanied by a bright glass of orange juice. She sighed into her coffee. Today was the day her students were going to battle and fight. Tear each other limb from bloody limb. It made her wince and shake just thinking of it.
She pulled the coffee cup up and sipped it slowly tasting the whirl of creme on her tongue. She gave out another sigh before she curled her tail around her. She picked up a fork and started lazily poking at her eggs.
Would the dancing help, she wondered, would it help her students leap out of the way? Would it help to keep them from dying? She wasn't so sure.

Vocals certainly weren't going to help anyone in a fight.
Rita wasn't complaining about her class, not to get her wrong, but she knew the uselessness of it. Unless any of her and Dixie's students happened to be secret opera singers and could blast someone's eardrums with a particularly high note, Rita doubted the students would be putting her class' lessons to use. So, needless to say, the singer wasn't at all pleased knowing her students could potentially be sent into the arena to die.
Still irritated by this fact, Rita padded into the bar and followed her nose to the breakfast buffet. She slid a claw out into view and put a handful of sausages onto her plate before taking said plate and approaching Sawyer's general direction. An invisible brow rose when Rita realized just how different she and Sawyer looked, but it dropped down again and Rita decided not to question it. She just wanted to eat her breakfast and maybe hold a conversation while doing so. So, Rita hopped up into the nearest chair and set her plate down so she could eat. After using a claw to pick up a sausage and popping it into her mouth, pausing for a moment to actually eat it, she glanced Sawyer's way and frowned ever so slightly. What did the other feline professor think about all of this.
"Let me guess. You don't know what's gonna happen to those kids out there today either," Rita said. She'd resist the urge to assume Sawyer was worried about the kids at all.

Sawyer lifted her ears slowly towards the other cat. She nodded softly before taking in the image of the other cat. Besides the lack of clothing the two girls were relatively the same, species and all. Felines sitting together enjoying breakfast. She was glad Rita'd taken to sitting across from her; this way she wouldn't have to wallow in sadness alone. She tilted her head to the side slightly and let out a soft sigh.
"It isn't fair," she said, "Those poor kids. What help can we provide exactly when, at least my class, is art based? It just bothers me, that's all." Her ears folded back again as she gave a nod.
"I'm Sawyer," she purred, "Nice to meet you."

Young girl with snow white hair probably could have been mistaken for a student, but in truth she got that a lot. She had almost thought that the academy hadn't wanted her. But then, she had come, the nurse's office had been under construction until the fights. The first fight was today, and she knew that everyone was nervous. The hallways had been tense.
Mirajane entered the Pub. "Hello." she said to the fellow teachers. However, she could also sense tension in them as well. Of course, the students they were teaching were fighting. "I'm Mirajane, the new nurse. Nice to meet you."
