Brief History:
Butters is a fourth-grader who lives in South Park, Colorado, a quint little town that seems to be prone to odd occurrences. Butters, compared to the other children in class, especially the boys, is very passive and kind-hearted. He is the most innocent of the fourth graders, and thus is often bullied. The blond boy's gullibility has led him to be taken advantage of on multiple occasions, namely by a nasty little child named Eric Cartman. In spite of often being at odds with Cartman, Butters leans toward considering him a friend, but is much more comfortable around the other boys such as, Stan, Kyle and Kenny. At home, Butters suffers from a strict and abusive household, especially his father. Due to his close affiliation with Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny, Butters is often taken along on various wacky and horrifying adventures - and for this, he is often grounded by his father (even if Butters acted heroically). In his downtime, Butters has been shown to have a great imagination as he plays by himself. Butters had invented the super-villain alter-ego Professor Chaos as a reaction to his pent up discomfort with his strict parents and with being bullied. Professor Chaos apparently has physic powers, but in truth Butters is just a normal little boy living in South Park.
Butters discovered his letter in the mail one day. He was fully convinced it was legit, and it turned out he was actually right this time. Feeling frustrated because he was recently grounded, Butters decided to go to the school, having no idea what he was really getting himself into.
