"It would be so easy...to let my fate just carry me away...following this same path my whole life through. But I know...I can't. What I do, I do...with no regrets."
Yuna
Circle: Water
Age: 17
Skills: Some magic (including a healing spell)
Weaknesses: Yuna is a bit on the frail side, and she isn't incredibly fast or strong.
Friends: Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri
Family: Lord Braska (father, deceased), Rikku (cousin), Cid (uncle), Brother (cousin), unnamed mother (deceased)
Enemies: None specifically
Brief History: Yuna was born the daughter of a priest of Bevelle who had married an Al Bhed woman. His decision to do so had caused him to be looked down upon by the other religious figures, but Yuna didn't care. Braska was her father and she loved him regardless of what anyone else thought of him. When she was seven years old, Braska left with Sir Auron and a mysterious man known as Jecht on his pilgrimage as a summoner. He succeeded and brought about the calm to Spira, but Yuna was left without a father as a result. She instead gained the figure of a Ronso named Kimahri in her life when he came looking for her in Bevelle. He told her that a man facing death had told him to take her as far away as he could, and Yuna was taken with him to the island of Besaid. Yuna lived the next ten years of her life on that island with Kihmari and her new friends Wakka, Chappu, and Lulu, all of whom she considered her brothers and sister.
One day, Yuna decided that she, too, wanted to become a summoner like her father. Wakka and Lulu told her to reconsider, trying to stop her from doing something that would lead her to the same fate as her father, but she would not be deterred. Yuna wanted to bring happiness to Spira just like her father had before her. She wanted to try and defeat Sin just as he had. So, she prepared for her journey as a summoner...
...Only to receive a letter inviting her to a prestigious academy in the days before her journey would begin. Yuna was quite perplexed by this, and she considered turning down the offer, but Wakka and Lulu insisted that she go. So, against her better judgment and desire to make Spira happy, Yuna decided to attend the school.
