Brief History:
Once a brilliant scarer, Abigail Hardscrabble was picked to be an elite monster from her birth. She was just horrifying and her parents doted on her, giving her everything she needed to become a fantastic scarer. She was a member of Etta Hiss Hiss and came up with the idea of the Scare Games during her time at Monsters University. When she graduated she became a top scarer at Monsters Incorporated. She broke a scare record with a scream during her time there and, in addition to her bonus, she was given the very scream can she broke the record with. Pleased with her time at Monsters Inc, she retired and moved on to be a teacher at her alma mater. She moved up to Dean of Monsters University's Scare program.
After the events of Sullivan and Wazowski, Dean Hardscrabble received a letter to teach at the academy. Though the rumour through the school is SHE'S the one behind the whole thing, it's not her job to disuade them. It's her job to teach scarers.
