Well, she knew how that felt. Except for the 'doing his job' part; she didn't even have one of those. She just... existed; and that was apparently enough of a crime for everyone else in the game.
"Ya could say that." Actually, it would be a fairly big understatement just to say her life was 'rough', but Vanellope figured there was no need to go into great detail. She wasn't one to fish for sympathy; yeah, her life sucked, but she'd got used to it a long time ago. Sometimes, she might slip into a mood where she was more inclined to delve into the joys of being her; but not around someone she'd only just met, no matter how similar to her he may have been. Instead, she nodded her agreement to the rest of the wrecker's statement. A small smirk flicked at the corners of her mouth as Ralph mentioned a janitor like himself not getting any special treatment, but it wasn't that part that the girl chose to respond to.
"Mostly, anyways. One of th' other kids is here, but I can avoid her, no problem." Under other circumstances, that might have been a lie; evasion wasn't really Vanellope's strong point. But she hadn't seen Taffyta since their run-in on Friday; perhaps luck was going to be on her side for a change, and she would continue to just not encounter the blonde again. Luck was never usually on her side back in Sugar Rush, it was true; but maybe here would be different. She had a friend in Angel now, after all; and maybe was starting to get one in Ralph too? It was already a turn-around from how lonely her life had used to be.
"Yeah, I never figured there's be anyone else like me either." Her large hazel eyes turned back up towards Ralph again. Especially someone who wasn't even a glitch; not that she'd have known, anyway. The whole 'glitches can't leave their game' thing made it impossible for her to know if other glitches - or others who were treated the same regardless - even existed. Finding out about Ralph, however, was enough to get her wondering. Were there more glitches like her in other games in the arcade? She'd just never thought of it before, hadn't a clue if it could even be true.
"What's you're game even like? I haven't ever been outside Sugar Rush, so..." she shrugged. Except to come here, of course; but the real world still didn't tell her what it was like in other games, and Vanellope had gained enough curiosity through talking to Ralph to ask.
