Weaknesses: She isn't the best flier, nor is she all that strong. She also can be described as overly friendly, which may get her into trouble.
Friends: She likes to think most every pony is a friend of hers, but this is debatable.

Brief History: Derpy was born in Cloudsdale like most pegasi and came from a small, simple family. Her flying skills were nothing extraordinary and she didn't stand out much from the crowd beyond having her eyes a little... messed up. She was born like that, though, and no one really seemed to mind much. When she was young, Derpy attended flight school with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. She was rather mediocre when it came to flight, though, and some wondered what her special talent even was. It came to light one day when one of her friends was sad and she cheered them up with her bubbly personality. She learned that her talent was being able to make use of her bubbly personality and she was quite happy with that. When she grew older, Derpy moved to Ponyville and became a mail pony.
One day, a letter came for her. It invited her to a prestigious academy. Never before had she thought she would receive such an invitation, and Derpy was all too happy to accept it. She didn't have any clue of what she was getting herself into, though.
