Brief History
His background is a mystery but John did graduate high school and go to college for a bit. But the male turned into a super slacker, bouncing from job to job, trying drug upon drug and getting drunk constantly. He befriended David Wong and leaned on the guy as a best friend. The two had an insane adventure together to which he was introduced to his new drug of choice; Soy Sauce. A drug from another dimension it gave John the ability to see into the future, stop time and see shadow beings and other creatures. John and David defeated a being who wanted to destroy our world by blowing it up and the two returned to being slackers and jumping from job to job.
While also fighting the supernatural.
When John recieved the letter it was Amy who convinced him to go. To appease his buddy's girlfriend he left and attended a suit and tie school where students got killed. He hates the suit and tie part the most.
