(ooc: September 5th, after the fights. Open to all in the fire circle.)
The fight from that day had probably made Sync the happiest he'd been all week.
He'd just gotten back from the nurse's office, and there was a slick smirk on his face. All day, Sync had wanted to gush about how amazing the fight had been. He wanted to brag to someone about how he had pummeled Arietta into oblivion. The girl hadn't even stood a chance against him. Even the memory of the fight was making Sync feel great. As he strode into the room his bed was located in, he just had to start bragging. While a wiser warrior would have taken the sound advice to take victory in silence, he just couldn't this time. Sync was far too proud of himself for beating Arietta to even consider that.
"I can't even believe they stuck me against a wimp like that. You guys should've seen how pathetic my opponent was," Sync said. She hadn't left the fight without giving him something to remember by, though. The bandaids across the bridge of his nose were a testament to that fact. Sync really didn't care about that much, though. He was happy with how the fight had gone and didn't care about what anyone had to say about the injuries he had. All he cared about was telling them how amazing he had been in that fight.
"I practically knocked her straight into next week."

Johnny, hands on hips, eyes narrowed darkly, offered a grin to the skinny human male. In his few days there, Johnny had realized these fleshy creatures weren't even close to being toxic. He had even spent time researching them and discovered that monsters were just ignorant about humans. They didn't need to be sneaking into kids' rooms, they could have snapped the kids in half!
But he digressed. Listening to this little green haired human's story was pleasing him. This guy was arrogant but clearly he'd beaten up someone hard in the battlefield. He was also very happy about it. He shifted on his claws and gave a laugh.
"Clearly you got a bunch of good shots in," Johnny said, "You humans seem to be much tougher and less squishy than you look." He raised his eyebrows. "So. Tell me. You got any friends in this place, pal? Because you would fit in my frat with no problem." Maybe he should create a Roar Omega Roar here...Sync would be first on the list.

Sunset nodded and clapped her hands in a rather slow if not sarcastic motion, but it was proven to not be sarcastic with the confident smirk she wore on her face. She had been pleased that this boy had won, no one who lost the first round was worthy to be in the fire circle. At least not in her book. "You certainly did prove that we are the best circle in the academy. I applaud you for that."
Her blue eyes took in the green haired boy. Despite the fact that he had gotten scratched, she thought he was one of the stronger members of their house. Based on what she saw.

"Hell yeah I did," Sync said. He was prepared to go into full detail about the whole fight, but the fact that Johnny had asked what he had surprised him. In his whole time there, Sync had blatantly been avoiding the possibility of making friends. Hell, he'd told Pinkie straight out that he didn't have any friends. ...Where was she, anyway? She may have been obnoxious when he'd first met her, but she'd thrown him and Vanellope that party. Maybe she wasn't so bad... Wait, no. No. He couldn't focus on stuff like that. It was irrelevant.
"Actually," he began, "I haven't. Up 'til now I hadn't really bothered to make any friends, and I didn't think I needed them. But..."
Had he been wrong? Johnny seemed to have taken a liking to him. Maybe it would be worth it to accept the monster's friendship and that of others later on. Sync didn't know how much longer he'd be alive, but still... Maybe his life did have a tiny bit more worth than he'd first assumed. ...Yes. He could do this; he'd be willing to accept Johnny's offer. That is, of course, if it would still be valid.
"I think I should change that. It's not like it'd kill me to make a friend," he said. It was then that he noticed Sunset and heard what she had said. Green eyes flicked in her direction, and his smirk grew ever wider. He'd proven the circle's worth to her... To everyone in it! If that didn't give him at least some reason to live a little bit longer, on top of knowing that Johnny wanted to be his friend, he wasn't sure what would.
"So I guess you saw the fight, then?" he asked.

"She's got a point. We are the best of the best."
The words sent a blaze through Johnny's spine. Best of the best. Elite. He grinned evilly, a smile of someone who had his internal gears working on something horrifying. He shifted his feet to a more comfortable position before he flexed his claws and pointed at the green haired male. "Trust me pal, you need friends. Allies. People you can lean on." He gripped Sync's shoulder with his own violet claws. Look at him, touching a human.
"We're the best of the best my friend. And I think you're leading the way. Looks like you've got 'battle champion' written all over ya."

Sunset nodded as Johnny voiced his thoughts. "Indeed, I was probably the only one who enjoyed it. It was quite exciting. And for you to so brutally break that girl, well, it certainly made us the most feared house in this place." she looked at her nails but kept the smirk on her face. "I can't help but wonder what the rest of the fights will be like."
--- There was one boy in the fire house that did not share in the excitement of the green haired boy's fight. Natsu, who had loved a good fight as much as the next wizard of Fairy Tail, but Sync's fight with the girl named Arietta, had made him feel unsettled, the girl would have died if it had been a fight to the death, he wondered if Sync would have cared that way. He certainly didn't want to kill anyone. But this guy was treating all his opponents as if they were all the same. "Feared and respected are not the same thing." he said quietly.

"People to lean on, huh..."
Sync had never really considered that before. His instructor from back home had said that he didn't need anyone to rely on. After all, if the world was just going to screw him over then what did he need friends for? Maybe that line of thought had been entirely wrong, though. He could actually get behind this idea. Johnny and Sunset both seemed like cool people and were, in fact, the kind of people he wouldn't mind being around. Them and Vanellope... No one else seemed necessary in Sync's life. He could get behind this idea just fine. At length, he nodded in response to both what Johnny had said and what Sunset had said.
"You got yourself a friend, then. You two can hang with me whenever," Sync said. He had to admit, Sunset was doing a good job of puffing up his ego. He'd really kicked Arietta's ass and shown no mercy. Well... That wasn't necessarily true. Sync could have killed her if he'd really wanted to. The only reason he hadn't was because they weren't supposed to. Whatever principles lay within the tempestual boy, he hadn't been able to actually give in to his desire to truly show no mercy. But he'd shown Arietta just how brutal he could be. That was something she would surely remember for a long, long time.
He would have said more, but another voice had made itself known. Sync glanced in the direction of the owner and his eyes narrowed slightly. What did that kid know, anyway? The only way to be respected was to make it known how vicious one could be.
"Yeah," he finally said. "We sure showed that earth circle just how vicious we can be. I doubt that girl's going to forget me any time soon."

Sunset glanced at Natsu. Of course the pink haired boy was strong, she had seen him outside practicing fire magic. It was impressive but something about him didn't suit the fire house. Maybe he was here because of his brash attitude. "There are ways to be respected. If you get people to fear you then you get their respect, weather or not they want it or not."
She turned her gaze back to Sync and smiled. "I expect the whole earth circle will be ready for us no matter what or scared. I prefer the ladder."

Edith walked in with a white collared shirt and red vest with a pair of Black pants. She wasn't gonna be caught dead in a tie or skirt. Not when it wasn't needed at least. She looked around with a smile as she saw Sync. She had come here to congratulate him. She had seen the way Sync had handled Arietta. She had hoped that when she had her match, she could make an example out of her opponent, and show that the fire circle was not something to ever mess with.
"You were awesome, You really kicked some major butt, but good. " Edith said happily. She was mighty impressed from what she saw during that fight.

Uggggghhhh human child stink.
Johnny's eyes narrowed, stepping back a few steps and letting go of Sync's shoulder. Edith was JUST the right age to freak out Johnny and the rest of his monster buddies. He snorted and ignored the girl, turning away from her as he addressed Sync and the pretty little monster Sunset Shimmer. In Johnny's eyes, she was a monster clearly. Not human. No way.
"She's right," Johnny grinned, dipping his head in a nod, "I see the Earth circle members shaking in their boots. ALL because of you, pal. You've set the standard. We've got to follow you."
Oh the male knew exactly how to butter someone up properly. But Sync deserved it. Having Sync and Sunset at his side, he'd be able to snatch the limelight from other circles.
