"Save the business talk for later. It's time to get smashed!"
Name: Syrenne
Class Taught:Sword fighting
Age: 24
Skills: She's a skilled sword fighter, agile, and a self proclaimed badass
Weaknesses: She tends to enjoy her booze a bit too much. As such, she is likely to be found getting drunk off her ass more often than not.
Friends: Zael, Lowell, Yurick, Mirania, Calista
Family: None to speak of.
Enemies: Stuck up people who think they're better than her.
Brief History: Syrenne's origins are relatively hard to guess at, and she liked it that way. When she was young, she met with two mercenaries named Zael and Dagran, and ultimately she joined forces with them. Over time, the group grew to include three more members: a flirt named Lowell, a quiet mage named Mirania, and a kid named Yurick. Their lives were tough, as people didn't really respect mercenaries where they were from, but Syrenne developed thick skin over the years and learned to shrug it off for the most part. Her life was changed one day when Dagran, their leader, informed her and the rest of the mercenaries that they had a new job working for Count Arganan. He was the resident high up noble of Lazulis Island, and their job was to act as guards during a ball honoring the upcoming wedding of Lady Calista and Jirall. On the way to the castle, however, Syrenne ended up in a bad scrape that almost cost her her life. It was thanks to Zael that she survived.
Once they made it to Lazulis castle, Syrenne got herself into trouble with a knight known as Therius. An argument started between the two and would have resulted in a brawl if not for General Asthar stepping in to quell it. An attack by the Gurak interrupted the ball, and Syrenne and Lowell were left behind to deal with the trouble while Zael, Dagran, Yurick, Mirania, and Lady Calista were whisked away on an adventure. When the group returned, they were imprisoned for supposedly being behind the Gurak attack and putting Calista in danger. Their names were ultimately cleared, though, and the group was slated to become knights. This included Syrenne. After many further adventures, though, Syrenne came to realize she didn't like being a knight. Too many people were telling her what to do, how to behave, and trying to reign her in. Eventually, after what could only be described as a hell of a situation that almost ended in Lowell losing his life, Syrenne quit being a knight (as did the others) and went back to being a mercenary with Zael, Mirania, Yurick, and Lowell. Syrenne ended up beginning to date Lowell not long after this turn of events.
One day, though, a strange letter arrived for Syrenne. She was drunk at the time, and so she brushed it off and went back to drinking. When she awoke sober the next morning, though, she glanced the letter over once more. Apparently, she had been invited to teach at some academy. It wasn't really her style, but Syrenne decided to give it a shot. If nothing else, there would have to be booze in it somewhere for her.
