[September 10th, open to all magical users. From animal, mutants to humans. I would prefer just students for a few pages and then teachers can come in if they want. Plus keep this thread reasonably paced please]
Wilbell had woken up rather early, and while the idea of practicing her magic in her room was a fun idea, she knew that her fellow air housemates would not be happy to be woken up if something like a fire broken out. So, she had quietly walked out of the dorms into the quad. A fancy spellbook in her hand. Pink eyes darted across the pages until they landed on the spell she wanted.
"Here goes nothing!" Wilbell said with a smile and cracked her knuckles before waving her hands. The spell was meant to make her be able to make animals out of fire, or smoke. That could be easy. She had after all made a contract with the wind-ruler how hard could this be? Her red eyes were beaming with delight as small puffs of smoke and embers danced in the air as she concentrated.
Yes! She had it. She had it.
If there was one thing that Wilbell was, it was being too overconfident. And because of this, the spell turned into a puff of smoke as if like an explosion, leaving the girl covered in soot.

“That went well.”
Gray had just left the Earth circle dorms and was on his way toward the dining hall for breakfast when he happened upon the scene before him. He had arrived just in time to see the mini explosion and couldn’t hold back the chuckle that left him. It reminded him of something Natsu might have done, though Natsu was less-likely to end up hurt by a failed spell. He slowly approached the female, his hand coming up to loosen the tie that was fastened around his neck. A few of the buttons on his collared shirt were loosened revealing his neck and collar bone.
When he reached her, he glanced down at the book she had, reading a few lines before turning his dark blue gaze toward her. “What kinda book is this?” he asked, rasing a brow. “I mean I get that it’s some kind of magic but I’ve never heard of any of those spells.” He shoved his hands into his pockets as he glanced back at the book, reading it over again. It was true he'd never really read any magic books, for one he wasn't interested and the ones Ur had had he hadn't been allowed to read. Still, what little he had read over the years was nothing like what was printed in this book.

Wilbell looked up at the boy who seemed interested in her book. She wiped some of the soot off of her face to at least not look like a bigger fool than she already had. She smiled and proudly closed the book. "It is a ancient spell book. I'm a witch, and I am trying to learn all i can about every kind of spell. Nothing is going to stop the great Wilbell!" The girl said happily, if not overconfident.
Plus she had already made her introductions clear. "That explosion shouldn't have happened though, something must have gone wrong." she said putting a finger to her chin thinking. "Do you know magic?" she asked the boy curiously.

Gray’s eyes snapped up at the girl as she abruptly shut the book. Claiming that it was an ancient spell book and that she was a witch. Gray had heard that term before, if he wasn't mistaken it was a long outdated term for a female wizard. Gray was sure that it wasn't used anymore, but than again he hadn't ever been too far outside of Fiore so who was to say it wasn't still used in other countries? When the girl spoke her name with the word ‘great’ in front of it, he had to raise a brow. Someone was a little full of themselves now weren't they?
“Well, Wilbell? Was it? I've personally never seen a book quite like this one. But who am I to judge? I've never read many books.” He took a step back so that he wasn't so close to her. His expression a lazy one. He watched as she tried to figure out what had went wrong with her spell. He had only seen a glance of what she had been trying to do, but from what he’d seen he could guess what it might have been. “I think you may have said the incantation wrong,” it was only a suggestion, but it was the best guess he could give to her.
At her next question he shrugged. “Yeah, I know some. I’m a ice magic user, namely a Ice Make wizard. Meaning, I can make just about anything I want from ice,” his voice was it’s normal semi-monotone making him sound bored when he actually wasn't.
“What about you? From the explosion I can guess that was fire magic, but do you have a specific type?” he asked, his dark blue gaze meeting her pink one.

Ice magic. She had never experimented with that magic before. It excited her. Someone else here knew magic. Of course, there were plenty of students who could do magic, but there were some that didn't even want to show off with it. "Oh, well I kind of experiment with all kinds of magic." she said taping her finger against the book. "I'm a witch. Well, actually I am trying to become the best witch in the world!"
She smiled. "That explosion was just a fluke. I can do way better!"

Post by Gauche & Droite on Aug 16, 2014 20:14:11 GMT
The last thing that Gauche and Droite had been expecting was to run into other magic users. Although the twins were primarily sword fighters, they did rely on some magic in their fighting. The pair had intended on spending some time in the quad, mostly to relax, when they'd happened upon Wilbell and Gray. As they walked by, it became apparent that something had happened to Wilbell. Namely, some kind of explosion had taken place. When the girls saw this, Droite burst out into a fit of giggles and had to cover her mouth for a few moments in order to attempt containing them. This didn't go over well at all, though, as the green-haired girl's laughter soon because audible.
"Lookit her, Gauche," Droite laughed. "She's all covered in soot! It looks like you did when you were fi-"
"That's enough," Gauche stated. She walked past her sister, effectively silencing the green-haired girl, and took her place near Gray and Wilbell. Talking about her past failings wasn't the best thing to discuss, at least in her opinion. She would have much preferred to discuss how all of them apparently could use magic. A faint smile formed on the red-head's face as she shifted her weight to the side ever so slightly.
"I'm Gauche. This is my sister Droite. Nice to meet you all," she said, bowing her head politely as she did. "I didn't think we'd find other magic users here."

Wilbell looked up from her conversation with the ice user,to face the green haired girl and red head. Twins. At least she thought they were twins. Maybe she was mistaken. After all the witch had made mistakes before. "Hi there! I'm Wilbell. You can call me Belle or Wilbell it doesn't matter to me." she said winking. When the red head mentioned magic, and that they had them her eyes went wide.
The spunky witch stood up, "I am trying to become the greatest witch ever ya know. So i need to know all the magic I can." she turned to them, scaling them up and down. "Alright, so what kind of magic do you know?" her eyes wide and eager as if taking mental notes in her head

"Oh, neat! That sounds like fun," Droite chirped. She tilted her head to the side after Wilbell asked her question and glanced to her sister. What magic could they use? That was easy. Droite knew the spells they could both use like the back of her hand. It may have been their swords that did the talking more often than not, but they both could use magic too. Yeager had wanted them to know it so they could be more diverse. She beamed and rocked back and forth on her feet after straightening herself out a bit. Gauche, on the other hand, looked as casual as could be. She would remain calm so she could explain.
"I specialize in fire, mostly. Droite-"
"Lightning and wind! I'm best at those!"
Gauche rolled her eyes at her sister's answer. Of course, Droite had interrupted her. She shouldn't have been surprised, though. Her bubbly green-haired twin always did that much when she was excited. There was more to their magic than fire and all, though. Gauche could explain that much for herself, though. She tended to end up healing Droite more often than not.
"There is one other magic we use, though," Gauche said. "We can heal one another if the need ever arose. Our healing artes aren't the best, though. They're still kind of weak."
