Brief History: Not being a vastly talkative pony, not a lot is known about Coco’s background. She was raised and schooled in a small town a little way outside Manehattan, and after graduating as a skilled dressmaker, she moved into the big city to look for work. Not long after, the young mare was taken on by Suri Polomare as her assistant; a job that involved sewing, getting coffee, and covering for her boss’ dishonest ways – and very little else. After a while of working for Suri, Coco almost began to believe what she said about it being every pony for herself in the town.
One day, the young mare received a strange letter, inviting her to a new job at a school, where she would no longer just be an assistant, but a teacher, being able to pass her skills on to other young ponies. Though lacking any vast experience with foals, Coco nonetheless decided that she was better off taking the offer in the hopes of getting her career a bit further off the ground. Quitting her work for Suri, Coco packed up and headed out to Dante’s Academy.
