Brief History: Being raised in the planet overrun by Grimm, Yang grew up with her sister Ruby wanting so badly to become a huntress, fighting away the evils that ravaged the world. She grew up training with her firelike semblance and crafted her dual shotgun gauntlets to aid her in battle, graduating from Signal Academy into Beacon, with Ruby! There they met their new teammates and formed a strong bond over the semester, battling Grimm and growing adjusted to life at Beacon. After Blake ran away and confronted Torchwick with Sun, Team RWBY went back to Beacon, sleeping on the thought of what the White Fang were doing with Torchwick and what was even going to happen. Soon, though, Yang found a letter under her pillow telling her of another academy she was going to go to. She was a bit excited, hoping it would be a sort of temporary leave to practice in combat before the tournaments, but once she arrived there, it became pretty obvious they didn't want her to leave...
