Brief History
Squint led a pretty normal childhood sans his attitude causing him a lot of trouble. When his home was destroyed, he was separated from his family and floated out to sea on an ice cube. He was one of Gutt's first rescued, causing the rabbit to not only form an attachment to the ape but also to grow a sense of entitlement feeling he should be first mate under Gutt.
After the destruction of his ship and the final fight with Manny and his herd, Squint followed them to the new land. But before he could exact his bunny vengeance a bird gave him a letter, inviting him to some school. He decided to attend. What else did he have to lose? But he was furious to find that Shira was a teacher there. How could SHE be a teacher and not HIM?
