"We will not be defeated by the likes of you." "Yeah! What she said!"
(Gauche)
(Droite)
Gauche & Droite
Circle: Air
Age: 18 (both of them)
Skills: Both are adept at using a sword and magic. Gauche leans more toward fire based magic, while Droite leans more heavily toward wind and lightning based magic. Both can use weak healing magic as well.
Weaknesses: Gauche is more driven toward being no nonsense, thus comes off as cold and hard to approach. Droite, on the opposite end, is more bubbly, naive, and easily led. The two are indeed skilled with a sword, but they tend to rely heavily upon one another for backup. Separating them would be disastrous due to how close they are and how heavily they depend on one another in battle.
Friends: Each other
Family: Yeager (adoptive father and mentor)
Enemies: The knights of the empire, those who would threaten them or Yeager... That's about it.
Brief History: Gauche and Droite were born and raised in a little town near a mountainous region known as Mt. Temza. The two were thrown toward tragedy early in life with a great war occurred and tore their family away from them. The girls were left orphans and taken to live in an orphanage at a harbor town called Torim Harbor. For the next few years, the girls lived there and tried to get by as best they could. When they grew a bit older, though, they began to notice how a strange man with a funny accent would come to the orphanage periodically and donate money to them. Gauche and Droite wanted to do something to thank the man for all he did, and so they snuck away one day and followed him all the way back to his home. The man, Yeager, was impressed to see that the two girls had managed to follow him that far without getting hurt. The way to his home, the Manor of the Wicked, was dangerous and there were many monsters that could have hurt them. Yet the two had not been deterred. They were that devoted to showing how much they appreciated all Yeager had done for them.
So, Yeager adopted the two as his daughters and made them his second in command in his guild called Leviathan's Claw.
After they were adopted, Yeager set out to teach the girls how to wield swords. He wouldn't have his two girls be harmed on a mission because they didn't know how to fight. They also were given blastia, which enabled them to use magic. Gauche developed skills early on with fire magic, while Droite grew adept at using wind and lightning. The two progressed quickly in their training and became devoted to defending Yeager with their very lives if the need arose. Gauche and Droite grew quite close to Yeager through all the training and time spent with him, and they really did become the family the girls had wanted ever since the war.
One day, something occurred that would disrupt the otherwise lively lives the girls lived. They received a strange letter inviting them to an academy far away. Droite seemed excited about the prospect, but Gauche was hesitant. Going to the school would mean leaving Yeager, and although the man was a skilled fighter Gauche knew he couldn't handle everything all on his own. Suppose he was hurt? Droite realized this too, after Gauche had brought it up, and the two became more reluctant to leave. It was Yeager who finally urged them to go. He thought it would be a good experience for the both of them. So, with tearful goodbyes behind them, the twins set off to attend school at Dante's Academy.
