(September 1st, open only to teachers.)
"This stinks."
Discord had been let off of his leash briefly, the male being allowed to hop out and drink with the other teachers. His lion paw was curled around a bottle of beer, apple flavored of course. His eyes were narrowed, annoyed, his ears flicked back as he let out a snort. His magic was so limited here it was infuriating. He was reclined on a wooden bench in the bar looking about at all of the teachers inside.
The bar was large and wooden looking inside. It almost looked like a lodge of sorts with a giant fireplace, large comfy chairs and stone benches. Some people drank beer, others drank liqueur.
One thing was for certain though; the bored lord of chaos was bored.

Nagaina the cobra was coiled around the base of one of the chairs. She was close to hidden in the shadow, save for her eyes which glittered like spheres of jade. Every now and then, a forked tongue would appear from the front of her nose. There wasn't much interest in the other teachers shown by the serpent's expression. She didn't appear as if she particularly wanted to be there, but she liked the private area more because there were no chances of being bothered by one of those impudent children. It was really annoying that she couldn't just give some of them a poisonous bite as punishment...but then that would in all likelihood end in death. Her airy rasping rattled from under her hiding spot. Diamond-shaped head lifted out of shadow for a moment as she eyed a few who'd strolled past her with unblinking eyes. The end of her tail flicked and she lowered her head back under the chair and let it rest upon her coils.
Nagaina appeared quite happy with where she was placed at the moment and not inclined to move anytime soon.

"Well hello there!"
The male has snapped his fingers and appeared next to the snake, grinning his devilish grin as he poked his head next to the female. "You look bored, my lady, how would you like some company? Where's your drink?" He'd appeared next to her on a whim, just because. His feet pushed back as he flipped right side up. Discord was bored and so why wouldn't he poke fun at someone nearby.
"So what do you teach, sweetheart? Hisssstory?" He chuckled and snapped his fingers, a drink appearing next to the snake. "On the house. Well on the floor. Need a HAND?" He picked up his eagle claws and handed it to her with his lion paw.

Despite how much she wanted to explore the halls of the mysterious school, the pegasus knew that she should get to know her fellow teachers at some point. However, so far, there were only two teachers here. Odd. Was the school running on three teachers? It certainly wouldn't last long if it was. Her scarlet eyes sparked as she put a hoof to her mouth to hide the giggle of Discord's obvious joke before taking it upon herself to grab a chair with the others.

Despite not expecting having to see it, Saitine had his trident grasped firmly in hand as he made his way into the pub. The weapon's metal haft thumped on the floor along with his boots as he made his way to a seat near the others, intent on getting to know his fellow teachers better. Before he sat down, he got a pint of whiskey for himself.
"Good evening, everyone," he said, raising his mug in a broad gesture to those present as he sat down in a red, high-backed chair.

Daring hadn't really been paying attention to the other teachers and hadn't wanted to speak up a greeting to the others but then someone or rather something had beaten her to the punch of having to do it herself. "Good evening yourself." she said with a small nod, keeping the smile on her face. "Your classes going well so far?" No use just having awkward silence. Might as well make small talk with the ...interesting creature.

"Well, it's a bit too early to say for certain, but so far, so good," Saitine said, leaning back in his chair and placing one leg on his knee as he sipped from his mug. While he had seen many different creatures and characters from many different games, this creature before him was something entirely new.
"And how about yourself?" he asked. Then he realized he hadn't introduced himself. "And I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Saitine. I teach physiology and I also offer a course i the roper use of pole arms."

"Isn't that pronounced SAY-TAN?"
Appearing on Saitine's shoulder, the male had made himself super small. After the snake failed to respond to his kind hearted offer, he'd moved on to Darin' Do and Saitine. His feet shuffled back as he made himself his normal said, grinning wildly. "Hello friends. Oh a PONY! What a sight for sore...eyes." He popped his eyeballs out of the sockets, placing them in his paws and rolling them around in his lion palm like dice.
"How are you all?" He asked, "A little hot under the collar, Satan?"

Daring gave a polite smile at Saitine. "My class is good, many students especially the humans are very surprised to be taught by a pegasus." she said with a tiny smile. "Daring Do, at your service." she tipped her hat before turning to Discord. "Ah yes, Discord I believe. I do hope you aren't causing too much trouble. I believe the students are stressed enough." she didn't mind the creatures fun and games but something about kids having to fight each other sounded wrong. "What do you all think of the friday matches?"

Saitine closed his eyes, smile fading, and quietly counted to ten as Discord came to rest on his shoulder, heckling him over his name. Why people assumed he was, or had any desire to be, named after the Father of all Evil was beyond him. But, nonetheless, he was going to make every attempt to be polite.
"No, it's pronounced SY-TEEN. And, no, I'm not hot under the collar," he said. "However, I don't intend to answer to a name that isn't mine."
He frowned slightly as he pondered Daring-Do's question. If this had been a game at the Arcade, then things would have been very different, with death being at most a minor inconvenience. But here, in this situation, it was all very different. "Well, I must say I'm not too thrilled about the prospect of children getting killed. If it was just fighting, with proper rules and safety measures, then it would be different."

The ebony serpent looked about on the verge of sinking her fangs into the vaguely horse-like face. Unfortunately, it seemed that chaos creature had vanished before the effects of snake venom could be discovered as effective or ineffective on a magical being. Not that Nagaina would bite all too readily anyway, given that the great overlord-something would probably be angry with her if she went around chomping everything. Besides, venom took up resources to produce, so she'd try not to waste it. Acid green orbs fell upon the glass that Discord had conjured up for her. After a curious look at it, she turned her head away, seemingly not interested.
It appeared as if the mix-matched animal was bothering some sort of red-skinned human. Nagaina scowled a bit. She was beginning to dislike a certain coworker already and she was sure the other teachers were reaching similar conclusions. However, the red-skinned human and some sort of golden-furred cow were not immediately put on the grumpy cobra's bad side. Her black whip-like form slid out part way from under the chair she was coiled around. Head and hood lifted from the ground so she stood up at around two feet. Nagaina listened to them explain what their classes were with slight interest.
"I was assigned to mentor the children in hunting," Came a raspy whisper that sounded as if it was spoken on only a single breath, "It is unfortunate that many of them do not seem to have the ability to learn from my example properly - unfortunate, but not unexpected."
A thin, black tongue slid out from the serpent's mouth and flicked back in.
"These battles of which you speak are of little concern to me."

"Do excuse my interruption. But has anyone even see one of these battles yet?"
The calm voice came from a nicely sized wing-back chair that sat in front of the fireplace. Inside it, almost invisible between the large blanket wrapped around her, and the glow from the fireplace all but matching the colors of her fur, sat an adult cocker spaniel. Before her, on the chair lay a deep brown leather bound book, obviously of some age. She spoke in a tired, motherly tone. As if she was speaking to a group of un-ruley children. She had preferred to keep the peace and not speak up, but as the topic turned to the inevitable conflicts that their students would face, she felt compelled to make her voice heard.
"Not that I wish to bare witness to one of these...horrid...affairs." She turned to face her colleagues, long mahogany ears outlined by the glow of the fire before her. "I would rather focus on their more intellectual studies."
She looked down at the book she had previously been engaged in. It was one she had studied briefly at Jim Dear's house...and it had taken her a long time to find a copy in this strange lost town. -As well as find a way to escape from this wretched place.- She thought to herself.

"I do not think that any of the battles have started as of yet." Daring Do said with little surprise that another teacher had entered the room. However, what surprised her more was that not one human was here. Was the school ruled by animal teachers? No, that couldn't true. There were still many more teachers around, even if they didn't show up. "It happens on fridays, and while i am fully in agreement with you Saitine." she sighed as she nodded. "We may very well, have to participate in them as well. One could hope that these students have brains as well as brawn."

Discord's eyes narrowed. These teachers were no fun and doing nothing to erase his boredom. His ears folded back as the male snapped his fingers and appeared beside Lady, running his claw and paw through her fuzzy ears. He chuckled. "I haven't seen a battle myself which is a shame, fuzzy-wuzzy." He danced away, lifting his head towards the other teachers as he put on his show. "Alas students tearing each other apart doesn't suit my personal idea of chaotic fun time. But whoever brought us here put a shackle on my powers. If watching some brats battle each other is going to set me free, I say have at it."
He poofed next to the pony, tilting his head towards her, squishing her cheeks with his paws. "Oh you know how powerful and fun I was, don't you sweetheart? Tell them how the mighty lord of chaos now stands in their presence!"

Daring's eyes narrowed as Discord squished her cheeks. Slapping his paw away with her hoof she adjusted her hat. "I know how powerful you are Draconequus, I can tell that you still hold that power in you. I suppose i shouldn't be surprised that you are teaching the Chaos Theory class." she said, looking around the small area. "What kind of trouble would you want these students to cause. I seriously doubt they can make it rain chocolate like you can." Then again, maybe one of them could. She had seen some interesting humans around the school. Perhaps one of them had powers like discord, but it was not something that Daring Do wanted to find out.
