Lady kicked to the side when the draconequus suddenly appeared next to her. A few days ago, such a creature would have caused her to hide or frantically fight back. However, she had become a little more excepting to this place's strangeness. She would never be used to it. She looked up at him, eyes narrowed as he ran his claw through her fur.
"Fuzzy-Wuzzy?" she said, soft enough that only herself could really hear. Before turning her attention to the beige colored Pegasus pony. She too thought of some of the students. Some seemed more talented then others. But then again, everyone has their own talents. The smallest of ants can move the largest of stones, so to speak.
"Chaos, perhaps that's just what our students need to learn." The cocker shifted in her blanket, her clothing shuffling under her four legs as she tried to re-adjust yourself. "After all, chaos if used properly can be a most effective a weapon."
She frowned.
"I too wish not to see anyone fight. The very idea that these young minds that we will be tutoring will sooner or later be placed into the arena of combat alone is enough to give me shakes. This place, it's a dreadful and awful prison to all inside it."
She looked back towards the fire. "But their best protection is knowledge, and if the knowledge must include Tactical Choas...then by all means." She waved a paw to the fireplace to insinuate her point.

"After all, chaos if used properly can be a most effective a weapon."
Discord's ears rang as he bounced towards Lady again, placing his eagle claw around her fluffy golden shoulders. "Oooooh I like her!" Discord snickered, "She's best dog for sure!" He snapped his fingers and a bowl appeared at Lady's feet filling with water and garnished with a slice of lemon. "Here, darling, have a drink." He gave Darin' Do a strange look, eyebrow raising as he hissed towards her.
"Darling, I'm not worried about chocolate rain with cotton candy clouds. This is serious business! How dare you associate my class to that! Bad pony!" He curled around the female. "No, no," he said, "My students need to learn that plans don't always work. That nonsense might be the better option, hm?"

"I see." Daring Do said with a smirk. Her ruby eyes sparkling with playful mischief. "I can't say what the better option for students would be Discord. They live by their own rules, and weather that gets them into trouble or gets them fortune it is not my concern." she waved her hoof in the air as if the questions didn't bother her. "The fights might be exciting, i am looking forward to seeing the strategies they use to beat their opponents. Hopefully some of the classes will come in handy."
She smirked. "They have their hands full, and I have my own business to attend to while students decide to fight each other for no reason."

Lady sniffed the bowl of water that had magically been set in front of her. That was another thing she was still getting used too...magic. She had at first been wowed by it, then frightened by it, and now...she was bored of it. It had just become another fact of life.
She lapped at the water, it had a faint taste of chocolate milk. Licking her lips, she turned her attention back to the conversation.
"I remember once, long ago, when I was trapped in a corner with three ravaging males at my back. The man who would eventually become my mate saved me using the elements of surprise and the strategy of pure full brunt force. The combination of critical thinking and brute strength is what saved that day.
I think you are both right in your own respective ways. Would it not be better if we as teachers work to train our students in all available resources. We have a lot of gifts to offer and goodness knows we all have our talents."
She shifted herself back into her blankets and with a frown, turned to focus back on the fireplace. "I know they have a lot in store. If they, and to an extent, us, are to survive."
