(September 3rd, open to students in Sawyer's Dance class.)
Bellow the stage was the studio Sawyer found herself in. The dainty white cat was dressed in sweatpants and a sports bra, revealing her feline tummy. Around her head was a blue sweatband, matching the color of the sports bra. Sweat bands also hung on her arms. It was important to be comfortable while dancing. Despite her showgirl style that was always a concern of hers. After all she was a cat; she had to be able to bend, flex and move. She cracked her neck and began to stretch while waiting for the students to arrive.
Today she'd start with basic movement, spins, turns, twirls. It'd help her evaluate who was good and who wasn't. She pushed her paws back and did a spin before placing her left leg on the ballet bar and stretching.
This would be a whole bunch of interesting.

"Ooooo... Pretty kitty," a little voice purred.
Stitch thought dance class would be fun. After all, he had a lot of fun watching Lilo dance when she was in class. He'd also had fun learning how to do the hula dancing she loved so much. Now, he found himself in a strange school with a pretty white cat who appeared to be the teacher. Little blue alien wasn't about to question it, though. He had seen far stranger things in his lifetime than a talking cat who appeared to prefer walking on two legs as opposed to four.
He padded forward, head tilted to the side, and blinked questioningly.
"This dance class?" Stitch asked.

Sawyer lowered her leg from stretching before turning towards the student. It was a cute little ball of fluff, perhaps a koala? She smoothed her sweatpants before tilting her head in a nod accompanied with a smile. "Hello there," she said softly, "Yes, it's dance class." Fluffy tail swinging behind her, Sawyer padded up towards the creature. He was smaller than her by a bit so she knelt on the floor, tail curled behind her.
"What's your name?"

"Stitch. My name Stitch," he replied. His stubby tail gave a sort of wag like a dog's and a grin formed on his face. Dance class was going to be fun, he could just tell. But... Where was everyone else? Surely Stitch wasn't the only one interested in learning how to dance. The blue-furred creature glanced around, almost as if he expected other students to come out from the floorboards, and he cocked his head to the side. Maybe the others were just late. Yeah, that was it. Stitch had just come before everyone else and so they were having to catch up. It made sense, at last to him, why he was the only student present.
"We do... What kind of dance?" Stitch asked. Hula he was already good at, so he was hoping to broaden his horizons a bit and learn a different dance. Something fluid, perhaps? Well, he'd soon find out. Stitch was eager to see what kind of dancing awaited him and what Sawyer would have to teach in general.

Young small pink haired girl entered the theater. Her eyes scaled the room, only one other creature was there. At least she could assume that it was a student. "Um, is...is this dance class?" she asked. Arietta wasn't sure what the school was thinking of giving her a class like dance, she should have been thankful that it wasn't Theater. It was just dance. "I'm Arietta." Her eyes lit up. The feline in front of her was beautiful and looked very cool. Was this their teacher? If she had met this feline and creature back home, the girl would have instantly want to hug them but maybe that wasn't the best thought since she was in class.

Sawyer smiled softly. "Well my name's Sawyer," she said, "And I'm sure you're going to do great. Have you ever danced before?" Her ears twitched as her question was sort of answered by his question. He was at least familiar with dancing, that was to be sure. Her tail curled fully around her as she lifted her head and looked towards the pink haired human girl.
"Yes, this is dance," she said, lifting a tiny paw, "My name's Sawyer. Why don't you come sit with us? We'll talk about what we're going to do." She continued to talk to Stitch. "Well, let's see what'chu got, blue. How about you show me some moves."

"Okitaga!" Stitch said. His tail was a blur of blue at the prospect of showing off what he could do. Oh, Lilo would be proud of him he was sure. He stepped back, getting into position, and glanced up at Arietta after a moment. She looked pretty, at least in his opinion. He especially liked her pink hair. But, there'd be time for introducing himself to his fellow student later on. First, he had to show off to Sawyer what he could do. So, at long last, he began.
It wasn't long before Stitch was going through what he knew so well as hula. It may not have been what Sawyer was used to, but this was the dance Lilo had taught him how to do and he was glad to know it. Paws fell into step like a practiced expert and his arms moved through the swaying motions. There was a big grin on Stitch's face, too. He looked absolutely elated to actually be doing this. Then, after a few moments more, he stopped. His head tilted, but his grin remained present.
"Stitch do good?"

"Very good!"
The female was impressed. She'd seen hula on TV so she recognized it but the critter seemed skilled in it. Using some of those moves in her own style of teaching would be perfect. And he seemed happy which was a good thing; clearly the koala was excited to learn to dance. Her ears tilted forward as he finished his steps.
"That's fantastic," she purred, "Do you dance often where you're from?" She placed a tiny paw on his shoulder. "Those moves will be fantastic. I'd love to include them in a dance recital. If we ever have one."
And if they survive long enough, she thought grimly.

Arietta clapped her hands after the little creature's performance. He was very good. She had never seen that kind of dance before. "You are very good." she said with a smile, agreeing with the dance teacher. She had no idea what a recital was. Unsure of what to do, the girl raised her hand. "Excuse me, what's a dance recital? Is it like a show?" she asked hoping that it wasn't a very obvious question.

Stitch beamed with pride. Hearing the two of them praise his hula, and hearing his teacher say she wanted to add it to a dance recital, pleased him quite a bit. If only Lilo was there... She'd surely love to hear the praise, too. She'd been his teacher after all. In answer to the question, he nodded a little bit. He didn't dance nearly as often as Lilo did, but often enough to know the steps by that point.
"Stitch dance. Not as often as friend, but some," Stitch said. He turned his attention to Arietta and smiled a little more. She looked like she had talent, and he wanted to know what she could do, too. Could she show them? Stitch wanted to know.
"You show us dance, too?" he asked her.

Arietta's face turned from happy to surprised. Dance? He wanted her to dance? "Um, i'm not very good." she muttered. After she had been picked off from her animal friends, moving into her new home, she was meant to learn a little bit of dance, in order to be presentable. It was only a little bit of ballet and no matter what, people always said she looked like a dying swan. She didn't want to show them. But if Stitch had been brave enough to do it then, it never hurt to try. She stood up to where the blue creature had gone and took a deep breath before starting to dance.
