DeathCry was among a clutch of five eggs born to a solitary pachycephalosaurus parent (the mother). While his mother was briefly inattentive, three of the eggs were stolen by an egg-thief. DeathCry and his sister hatched soon after the loss of the three others. A great earthquake from a meteor landing forced the family to move from their home through the ruined landscape of stones. While going up a mountain path, his sister was attacked by the egg-thief that had been following them since discovering the nest. DeathCry pursued the other dinosaur up the rocks, but found that it had already killed his sister. It went after him next, mocking him. DeathCry fled from it and was protected by his mother, who greatly outmatched the oviraptor. However, the egg-thief, in an attempt to escape, managed to cause DeathCry’s mother to slip and fall of the edge to her death. DeathCry screamed out, emitting such a horrible sound that it alerted a nearby party of dinosaurs who were attempting to find a path through the mountains. The oviratpor went to finish DeathCry, but was frightened away by a smell, leaving the young pachycephalosaurus staring over the cliff face at his dead mother. Moments later, a giant tyrannosaurus rex, named Gladiator, who’d heard him scream arrived. While Gladiator asked what happened, the youngster was too shell-shocked to even speak and just clutched onto the rex’s leg shivering. Gladiator took him back to his heard, which he led along with a triceratops named Rowan.
DeathCry since fallowed Gladiator like a shadow and grew fond of him. The tyrannosaurus slowly began to like the pachycephalosaurus himself – perhaps the only dinosaur he ever had pure feelings about. Not more than a few days after being picked up, the herd was ambushed by a group of rouge dinosaurs. While Rowan wanted to find a different route around them, Gladiator readily challenged the rouges for territory. DeathCry aided Gladiator and a small group of followers in the fight. After the battle was over, Gladiator was proud of the men who fought beside him and declared he would have his own herd, as what he dubbed the “Ravagsars”. Gladiator honored his members with new names, thus DeathCry gained his Ravagsar name (the name is mother called him was long forgotten). After the herds separated, Gladiator and his Ravagsars frequently challenged Rowan’s herd for land after they settled. As time went on, the hate between the factions grew bitter and violent.
Naturally, being the leader rex' adopted son, second-in-command and favorite Ravagsar, DeathCry was sent after the dino-bird, ScreechFeather, trusted to be able to bring her back safely. Getting back wasn't going to be easy. DeathCry felt dishonored at the very least that his trained warrior talents would be used as a simple means of entertainment. He was angry at the other dino and has since refused to talk to her (because he hates RPing with himself as much as I do).
