Brief History: Born the youngest of the apple family, Apple Bloom was born and raised in Ponyville. She lived a normal life, though longed to gain her cutie mark like the other ponies in her class. She was teased because she hadn't yet earned her cutie mark, and eventually found two friends who also lacked their cutie marks. Together with Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom formed the Cutie Mark Crusaders and also invited her cousin, Babs Seed, to join them. One day, though, Apple Bloom received a letter inviting her to a school. Thinking she would gain her cutie mark if she went, Apple Bloom went ahead and traveled to the school.
