(September 1st for those not in the other thread.)
"UNF!"
The male's head slammed against a padded wall as he trained for the fights. He wobbled back, shaking his head from side to side to rid himself of dizziness. His feet steadied and he tossed his head like he'd seen the stags do. It made the other stags grow intimidated and Ronno figured the same would go for his opponents. He wasn't scared no way no how! He was gonna beat everyone senseless and they were going to see HE was the best, not that namby pamby young princess.
He grinned, scarping at the ground as he went for another run at the pad.

Morri had given up on the clothes he had been given. And the books. The former simply didn't fit his misshapen body, and, well, truth was he couldn't read. And there weren't many pictures in any of them. Not enough to understand what the books were even about. So, instead, the towering mutant dog made his way to the gymnasium to practice fighting.
As he made his way inside, a quick look around revealed he was alone except for a rather small creature, maybe half his height, charging against a padded wall. Myriad eyes glanced around as the tall mutant padded further inside, looking over the various pieces of equipment and weapons. Most of the weapons were designed for actual hands, and, while his paws were far more dexterous than a normal dog's would be, he would be unable to use them correctly.
A big grin crossed his face when he saw something he could use. A weight with a handle on top had caught his eye, and he padded over and grabbed it between his jaws before heading towards a corner of the gym. Readjusting his grip, he began spinning in place, as fast as he could. Once everything around him was a blur, he balanced on his hind legs, still spinning, towering over twice his normal height as he spun. After a bit, he released the weight, sending the makeshift projectile hurtling through the air to impact with a loud bang against the wall.
He laughed as he lost his balance and sat down, dizzily watching the room spin around him. That had been fun, and he could potentially use the move in the arena. After all, he had used a similar technique to deal with a rather troublesome cavebeast, back in the Crater.

"The might hunter has cornered her prey..."
The young lioness' tail curved slowly from side to side behind her as she crouched behind a pile of training equipment that some former occupant hadn't put away; not that she was complaining, it gave her good cover. She still wore her uniform - including the tie, but with exception of the vest that she'd ditched a while back; she could cope with the rest of it, but that thing was just so itchy - as she eyed up the 'prey' in question; a young fawn who vaguely reminded her of the antelope back home. The fact that she was quietly narrating her own actions and might be overheard notwithstanding, Kiara felt that her quarry couldn't possibly know she was there.
Truth be told, Kiara was neglecting the gym's purpose. While it might look as though she was practicing for the arena, the young feline's only real intent here was to play. The fact that her life could well be in mortal peril when she stepped into the arena had yet to dawn on Kiara; that part had gone completely over her head in her excitement at being away from Pride Rock. As far as the lioness was concerned, this was all just a bit of fun. After watching Ronno ram head-first into the wall and then prepare for another run, Kiara decided her moment had come. Letting loose a playful "Rar!", she sprang from her cover to tackle the deer, doing her best to impersonate the way she'd seen grandma Sarabi and other lionesses take fully-grown animals.
She might have got lucky and succeeded in tackling Ronno to the ground, had a loud impact not rung out from behind her. Startled, Kiara tried to twist in midair to see what had caused the noise, but her momentum kept her going straight into her victim. The lioness slammed straight into Ronno, most likely knocking him straight off his hooves as she rebounded off his flank and tumbled to the ground.

Poor Ronno got a double whammy. His ears lifted, jaws opened as he heard the...whatever it was...smack against the wall. He yelped loudly, feet pushing back before he was slammed into by a golden lion cub. His eyes widened brightly, falling into the ground and slamming his neck on the dirt. But he was up a split second later with a violent scream.
"AHHHHHH!!!! MOMMY! MOMMY! MOMMY!"
He galloped until he hit the padded wall in front of him, collapsing to the ground in a heap of shock.

Emerald orbs were wide as shields and his body trembled a bit.
What in the name of the gods had he even gotten himself into? This wasn't his idea of a school. In fact, this reminded him exactly of Gobber teaching him and the other teens how to combat dragons. If it hadn't been for his learning about dragons through Toothless, Hiccup never would have survived the class. Hell, it was a wonder he was standing there at all. He'd only known that something was going on, and when he'd seen a group heading toward the general vicinity of the arena he'd decided to tag along. The second he did, though, Hiccup realized he'd made a very terrible mistake. He'd get creamed by someone for sure. He just knew it.
"Maybe I should just leave. It's not like anyone's noticed me yet, at any rate. Maybe I can get out of this without too much trouble," Hiccup murmured. He started to back away, ignoring the sound his metallic foot made as it clinked against the ground beneath him, and silently prayed that no one would take notice of him. Knowing his luck, though, someone would see him and try to make a sparring partner out of him. That would end disastrously. He didn't have to be a genius to guess that much.
With his attention focused on Ronno and Kiara, Hiccup continued to back away. So far, so good. Now he just had to hope he didn't bump into someone.

Completely unaware he was part of the cause for the young deer's sudden outburst, Morri watched in confusion as the fawn ran headlong into a wall, leaving a lion cub sprawled on the floor. The big mutant dog wondered what all the commotion was about as he padded closer, long legs carrying him across the gym at a quick pace. He stopped right next to Kiara, towering over the young lioness, staring down at her in mild concern.
"Are you okay?" he asked, deep voice rumbling in his chest, all seven eyes wide open. He glanced over at the young deer, hoping he hadn't hurt himself when he ran into the wall. While Morri couldn't know it, he was twice the height of the dogs used to hunt deer in the forest. The sound if metal clanging against the floor drew his attention briefly, and he turned a face filled with numerous eyes towards a young human with a metal foot. Then he looked back down at the lioness at his feet.

Blue unicorn walked into the gymnasium with her head held high, she was going to make an impression on this school, she was going to be better than Twilight or any of those pathetic ponyville citizens. Her purple eyes wandered around the room. Interesting creatures. She was more interested in the strange creature walking on two legs. One of them being...was that metal? No that was impossible, how could a leg look like that? And what was that thing with the many eyes. It creeped her out. So, the unicorn decided to avoid whatever it was and approached the two-legged creature. She wasn't sure what to say at first.
"Ahem." she cleared her throat. "The Great and Powerful Trixie has decided to save you from being alone. Tell me, just what are you?" she asked.

Oh, gods. Oh, gods it's starting. Someone noticed you already.
Hiccup turned to face the speaker addressing him, and when he did... Well, he was mostly confused. A blue unicorn? That was the very last thing Hiccup had expected to see in the training arena. One brow quirked in confusion and his mouth opened up partially, but then it closed again and he allowed Trixie to speak. She seemed to like referring to herself in the third person for some odd reason. She also seemed rather interested in what he was. Hiccup supposed it was logical; the chances that a unicorn had met a human prior to that point were pretty slim in his opinion. So, Hiccup would answer Trixie's question.
"Well, Trixie, I'm Hiccup, first of all. Secondly, I am what would be referred to as a human. ...I'm not completely out of my mind in guessing that you're referring to yourself when you say 'the Great and Powerful Trixie', am I?" he asked.

Kiara quickly scrambled back to her feet, looking abashed. Some mighty hunter; she hadn't even realised the vaguely hyena-like animal had been in the room with them. It must have been him who had caused the crash which had made her jump. "Yeah, I'm okay," she reassured him, a slight sheepish grin on her maw as she brushed her uniform down. "I didn't see you there," she confessed, not quite meeting the larger creature's... seven? ...eyes out of embarassment. Her amber orbs darted in Ronno's direction briefly, wondering what he was making of this animal; though the deer didn't look like he was in much of a position to be making much of anything right then.
Actually, now that she glanced around, the princess became aware that aside from her, the deer and the seven-eyed hyena, there were two other beings in the room too. Her grin, small as it had been, became a grimace. Apparently, she had a very one-track mind when she was hunting/playing. It wasn't any big deal while all she was doing was having a bit of fun - but how humiliating would it be if something like this happened out on the savannah once she was old enough to hunt for real?

Trixie blinked. What an odd name. Hiccups? Wasn't that something that anyone could get. "That is a very interesting name. Trixie has never heard of anyone being called that before. It is quite intriguing." She couldn't help but laugh at his question about the great and powerful Trixie thing. It was very cute but it hadn't occured to Trixie that others especially humans had not heard of her. "Why of course, I am in fact the Great and Powerful Trixie." she replied. "Tell me Hiccup, have you not heard that The Great and Powerful Trixie once defeated an Ursa Major and saved the lives of those in Hoofington? If you haven't. Trixie is surprised."

A WOLF.
But not only a wolf. A seven eyed giant demon wolf! Ronno was now cornered by a puma, or a puma like creature and a wolf. Deer's natural enemies beside...MAN! Ronno's jaws quivered. There was a MAN right there! Standing right before him! But when a blue doe walked in and just conversed with the man like she wasn't afraid Ronno knew he had to show her up. Chest puffing out he regally rose to his feet.
"I'm fine," he huffed, "Just exhibiting some stealth tactics, that's all. You wouldn't understand!" He turned towards Kiara. "What's the big idea, kid? I'm bigger and tougher than you, why would'ja try and jump me like that?" He swung his head awkwardly from side to side as he'd seen the Great Prince do on occasion.

"Well, you're like an antelope," Kiara retorted, her tone a touch defensive. She didn't quite understand why Ronno was questioning her; wasn't it fairly obvious? "And the adults hunt them back home. I'm practicing for when I have to do that too. And you're not that much bigger than me." She gave a shrug. "But I'm just playing really. Don't you want to play?" Suiting action to word, she crouched, prettending to growl as she bounced from side to side, just as she had when she had been trying to coax Kovu into playing with her, what felt like an eternity ago.
This guy looked kind of like Kovu, actually. He had the colouring, at least; dark brown coat and green eyes. But unlike her friend, maybe he'd actually know how to play; Kovu hadn't seemed to understand the concept.

"I'm not a...antelope? Cantaloupe? Whatever that is!" He puffed his chest out with a big smile, ears folding back proudly. "I'm a buck! A stag!" His tail flicked upwards as well as he still shook slightly at the sight of her teeth. His feet shuffled underneath him as she spoke. Wait..she wanted to play? With him? Usually after he was a jerk fawns didn't want to flay with him. His head lifted as she bounced up and down. He gave her a genuine smile before grinning, ears folding back as he crouched as well.
"Yeah! Yeah! Let's play!" He bounced a few times himself giving a mischievous grin to her. Maybe she'd be more fun than Faline.

Claws paws padded on the floor as the yellow Maximal wondered into the room. His tail flicked behind him as he paused and lifted his head to get a look around. A smile crossed the cheetah's face as he saw what was inside. This was obviously the place devoted to practicing fighting. Well, well - Cheetor certainly wasn't above a little bit of showing off. The mech padded further into the room a short distance before apparently spotting something he liked. There was a large punching bag hanging down near one of the walls by him. Cheetor turned toward it and reared up upon his hind legs so he could bat at the hanging thing like it was some sort of cat toy. When he land back on all four paws, he jumped around and kicked it with his back legs. The punching bag swung and the cheetah needed to duck to avoid it coming back at him. He remained in a low stance for a moment before standing back up, seeing that the swinging thing was slowing down. For a moment, a glum look crossed the cheetah's face; he could use that thing properly if he was in his robot mode.
No, I shouldn't do that, Cheetor begrudgingly reminded himself, I need to be responsible. I should only Maximize if I need to.
Cheetor gave a short of shrug before plodding away from the sack of sand. Besides, he should get acquainted with his beast mode too. In the room as well, he saw three animals sort of crowded together. He also saw a blue horse and a...human? The cat's ears fanned curiously. He didn't know there was sentient life on this planet. Then again, he'd heard the other animals talking...so were they Maximals too? They had to be, Cheetor assumed.
Hearing something, the swift feline turned his head. He had heard the voice of the fawn whining and he gave a mildly annoyed look. When he heard the lion cub say something about playing, his tail rose up. Maybe he could train with one of them. Cheetor grinned as the trotted to the fawn, the cub and the wolf. As he was close enough to see the overtall wolf with the many eyes, Cheetor's pace lagged - did animals on this planet usually have that many eyes? Brushing it off, he stuck his head out a bit, looking at the three animals one-by-one.
"Hey," He greeted them, "Are any of you looking for a sparring partner?"

Oh, yeah. This girl and Snotlout would get on great with each other, Hiccup thought. It was as if Trixie thought she was the greatest thing in the universe! After all, she was referring to herself in the third person and bragging all over the place. Hiccup had accomplished some pretty amazing feats for one as young as he was, especially given his origins, but he didn't go bragging about them every chance he got. Instead, Hiccup preferred to let others ask for themselves. That way, he wasn't the one throwing information in their faces without reason to.
First, though, he decided to address the issue of his name. Her comment had earned a slight smirk in response and a casual shrug.
"Trust me when I say that, where I'm from, 'Hiccup' isn't the worst name you could get stuck with. Oh, and no. I hadn't heard of your feats of daring there. Frankly, I don't even know what an Ursa Major is," Hiccup said. Blunt Viking was blunt and he didn't really seem to care about what he had said. He was, however, interested to know why such a dainty looking creature (at least in his eyes) was doing in a place that seemed so dangerous. What had made the unicorn want to come to this school?
"Anyway... You don't exactly look like much of a... Well, you look more like a sort of... What are you doing here, exactly?"
